Despite the prior reviews given, I have had a totally different experience (literally just got back home yesterday). There is new management in place and let me say David is absolutely fantastic!

He greeted my partner and I with such enthusiasm and gave us cool vibes energy making our weary selves having done intense hike days prior to making us feel so relaxed and at home.

He provided us great food recommendations which is a door down from the hotel (still have to try it since we never got a chance to— meaning we will be coming back again for sure) and other great local spots.

Customer service was absolutely great! However, I do want to point out that there is no continental breakfast and we were also fine without too.

The room was absolutely clean and bed super comfy. And although it may not have the best appeal to some people, it was absolutely perfect for us. However, the best selling point was the ocean view from the hotel. It’s perfect to watch the sunrise and overall made the hotel feel like its in its own island.

They have the best hardworking staff and always reaching out to see if we needed anything else. Staff Blake was so sweet, kind and allowed us to give a little time to pack up as we were rushing to check out.

Overall, this place is a 5 star for us but did give a 4 star on location since this place is still a drives way (under 30 min) to the main Bar Harbor town and Acadia National Park. If you are looking for affordable accommodation, great nights sleep and within a reasonable distance from Bar Harbor, this is the place to go. Hope you enjoy your stay just as much as we...

I booked this hotel through a Major Booking Website in advance of a Business trip to Massachusetts. Unfortunately I had entered the Wrong Dates, by a week. I became aware of this when Tate called to asked when I would arrive. ||He was as helpful as he could be, but stated that I needed to contact the Major Booking Company to make sure all was corrected. ||This is not an easy process, and took nearly an hour via an On Line Chat, as they no longer seem to offer a Phone Number. I was promised an email prior to the corrected date.||Having not seen any messages, I rebooked the Same Hotel just days before my intended stay.||I arrived on the Date that I had originally intended and found Amy to be exceptionally engaging. She asked me which of my two reservations that I wished to use...||The Hotel is very easy to access from the the main road towards Acadia National Park.||The Property is somewhat dated but seems to have had a fairly recent refresh.||The Check In Staff was Exceptionally Friendly and Informative.||The Room was Clean and Secure with the normal amenities that we've grown accustomed to, to include a Keurig Coffee Maker.||While Our Room didn't face the Water, the property seemed well kept and was far enough of the road to be fairly quiet.||All in All, we were quite happy and would likely...

The rooms were disgusting and had mold. It's pretty loud with the bridge right next to it. TV remote didn't work, USB plugs broken, and grime on the walls, curtains, and floors. Sheets were ripped and the headboard had cuts and scratches. Housekeeping blocks the stairwell with their cart and there's no chance of them moving it so you can get your suitcase up or down. If you can make it up the stairs, you're greeted by stained carpet and the communal microwave and keurig.

I stayed here during a weekend trip to Acadia National Park, when we checked in David was working and was such a positive welcome to the area, he was extremely helpful and easy to work with and gave my friend and I great recommendations. The rooms are perfect for an active weekend and we stayed during a full moon so the views were even better than we were expecting. We even saw some fireworks on our first night !! I would definitely stay here again !
