Despite other reviews, we had a good experience. Our party had risotto, fish and chips, and blackened fish sandwiches, all were good. We had no issue with service or with unavailability of food items; actually, several people checked on us.

We visited on a Sunday evening, and we were lucky to catch a local acoustic guitar player, Rob Reid. He was a hoot!

Yes, unfortunately they have only stairs to access outdoor bar. There is ground level seating below the bar area.

We did not use the restroom(s) to see condition or accessibility. However, if it is true that only hand wipes are utilized for hand washing, I don't believe that is allowable by public health code. Hopefully the employees/kitchen have access to a designated hand sink with code compliant plumbing and soap.

We did not witness any unsanitary kitchen practices. However, I hope the establishment rectified any incidents with the kitchen staff. They should be practicing safe food handling and certainly not touching phones while...

we got takeout on the way home from a doctors appointment and i don’t nornally complain but this food was awful. we got lobster mac and cheese , fish burger and short ribs . the short ribs didn’t even come with risotto like it said on the menu. and it tasted to me like it was a roast that was cut in slices . wasn’t a whole shirt rib like expected . the lobster pasta we were not even able to eat. we are a lobster fishing family, and the lobster was clearly rotten , mushy and not edible . 20.00 for a side of it went in the trash . and my husband fish burger was thin and the fish didn’t taste fresh it was way overcooked. on top of all this when i made my to go order online the fish burger didn’t have a tarter sauce option but my short ribs did??? so i assumed the waitress would understand that the extra tarter would go with the fish burger ( on the same ticket) instead i got a smart ass remark. did you want extra tarter with your short ribs?? overall the food was terrible and we...

Years and years ago my husband stopped here for a lobster roll. I honestly don't remember the name back then but it was a little hole in the wall, which, I have found, are absolutely the best. With that said, I honestly don't know if it is under new ownership or not, but here's what I do know...it was absolutely fantastic then and it is absolutely fantastic now! The place looks different, there's a second floor bar, which is where we sat. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our lunch here. My landlubber husband had the burger which kept him full past the dinner hour and I had the lobster roll, which was heaven in a bun! Fantastic!!!!! This is a "must visit" if you are in the area. Don't miss this...

This restaurant was FANTASTIC! From the lobster rolls to the old bay chicken wings to the new england clam chowder we devoured and enjoyed every single dish we had for dinner. The Connecticut lobster rolls were well stuffed and tasty. The clam chowder was full of potato and so much clam and was tasty without being too heavy. The cheese curds were crispy and gooey and a fantastix starter. The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. We will absolutely be back to this gem!

If you're heading to Bar Harbor stop here first. If you're in Bar Harbor leave and go to Trenton. The Currents Seafood & Spirits is the real deal. Creative menu with something for every one. All the coastal Maine classics - mussels, lobster, scallops and nice alternatives like their Bahn Mi sandwich ( outstanding). The upstairs bar has a great view and vibe. Superb service in a laidback setting. Very reasonably priced with a full bar.

First time visiting Maine. Trying all the restaurants I can. I've seen Lobster Mac & Cheese on nearly every menu so I tried it hear for the first time. Disappointed. There couldn't have been more than 2 tbl spoons of Lobster meat in my Mac & Cheese. SMH I should've ordered the Lobster Dinner for same price $37.00. Pretty sure that 1.25lb. Lobster has more meat in it than 2tbl spoons.
