Not a great weekend. First off..We are gold members for the Choice program they have. We always stay at the Comfort hotels/suites. I will start off saying we stayed at this hotel last Saturday, and was why we decide to stay here this weekend. So I called Friday night asking to be on a cancellation list if someone did not follow through with a suite reservation. The rep was extremely rude on the phone, and basically said " we are full, you get what room you have ". Fair enough. So we get checked in, and I go to get ice. Well, apparently the cleaning staff doesn't check/clean it. There was several cans in it. Saturday morning I told the young man at the front desk, and ask for another one. He gave me a trash bag to put in it. That was it. No other suggestion. We get back to our room really late/early Sunday morning. Part of the gold status is a late check out. I called to ask, and was told " nope, we are full up, nothing I can do ". He tells us we can go in a " security door " that the lobby is locked up at 11pm. Well, that's no issue, the " security door " is broken, and doesn't lock/close. People were making noise, so we finally got to sleep about 330, and again, no late check out. This might all be minor, but they make a big deal about being a gold member, well here, it means squat. We are coming back next weekend, but won't give this place another penny.

Ok, so before you judge this place by my post you have to understand a little about me. I love skunky places. They just have a little more character without any pretensions. Ok here we go... first off this place is in a strip mall so make no bones about that. It is clean, the beds are very comfy and the pool is good sized with a nice hot tub. The laundry room is a plus! And there is a great continental breakfast that seems to be a dying commodity these days. I love the hacienda styling in the courtyards. Now the far side... the hotel has partnered with a local rehabilitation center and does house some folks who are working to get clean. So if this for you is an issue do be aware as the hotel does not just share this fact. Otherwise 4 stars overall.

The immersive and genuinely unique experience offered by Comfort Inn Suites in Sabino Canyon embodies the spirit of authentic canyons. It is an exceptional destination to stay in Arizona because of its unique canyon-style architecture, which gives a unique appeal to the area. Having been to several locations, this one is unique in terms of style and authenticity. There is nothing like it when it comes to excitement during your stay. It's absolutely a must-stay destination, and I anxiously look forward to returning whenever I visit Arizona again. It's difficult to forget the remarkable fusion of comfort and ambiance inspired by the canyon at the Comfort Inn Suites in Sabino Canyon.

After reading some pretty harsh reviews of the hotel, I’d like to start by saying I had absolutely no complaints about it and I’ve stayed at many chain hotels over the years. The young guy who checked us in was super nice and helpful. When we had some issues with our TV and remote, he immediately went up and fixed them for us. He also mentioned a really lovely family restaurant called Eclectic Cafe which was at the shopping plaza next to where we were staying and he mentioned a 10% discount for hotel guests. ||The non-suite rooms were pretty average and maybe a little smaller than we are accustomed to. We stayed in a king room that was not a suite. It was a little cheaper, but if you’re looking for more comfort in a bigger room, you would probably want to opt for a suite. Everything was in working order. The water was nice and hot and with good pressure. The drain in the shower/tub drained well. As in many other chain hotels, the sink was located outside of the shower and toilet room. We had a king sized bed, which was comfortable. We didn’t like the fat pillows that they gave us, so we folded them down so they would be easier to sleep on. The TV in the room was large. My only complaint in this room was lack of bedside ports for plugging in electronics such as I have seen in so many other hotels. ||The breakfast was adequate and basically the same as you would find in so many other chain hotels like this one. It had scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, milk, diced potatoes, and fresh fruit. ||One thing that sets this place aside from some other chain, hotels is the charm of the exterior and the lobby. We enjoyed the outdoor sitting areas and the fountains in the courtyards. The exterior decor was in Southwest style. ||I would not hesitate to...

Very professional, polite and friendly staff. The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. I could control the thermostat it wasn't stuck on some preset temperature. I was able to lower the AC and keep the room temperature exactly how I like it, nice and cold. That plus the very comfortable bed made it easy for me to relax and enjoy a great night of sleep.

The pool and hot tub area was nice as well. There's were plenty of pool towels available and a patio and bar area is right outside the pool safety fence. The bar was open during happy hour, where they served alcohol, soft drinks and complementary happy hour snacks.

A simple breakfast is available, basically a continental breakfast with a few warm items added (ready made cheese omelets, bacon and potatoes). Plus a make your own waffle and pancake stations. The breakfast area was clean and the food was always restocked so pretty much what was offered was always avaliable. There aren't any made to order items, but the ready-made omelets were delicious and it was all you can eat. In the lobby/breakfast area is a coffee machine available 24 hours a day plus a cold refreshing lemon water dispenser next to it, very nice after coming inside from the Arizona heat.

Over all, for the value it is a great place to stay for business or pleasure and I'm sure that I'll stay there again on my future trips...
