I like to take a lot of time to write my reviews and I do my best at sharing all aspects of my experience. I can't say enough about Wild Orchid salon. The salon itself is very nice, clean and welcoming. Annie the receptionist is so sweet and kind and was very helpful directing me to the right stylist. I had the pleasure of working with Eileen Durazo and if I could give her 10 starts I would. Not only did she take a lot of time listening to me and talking with me, she took her time actually doing my hair as well. I didn't feel rushed at all or like I couldn't tell her all the things I like and don't like. I should have prefaced this by saying I had 9 months, yes 9 months of regrowth. She didn't shame me or make me feel bad for not coming in sooner (the pics below are before and after and the roots were rootin).She worked with me and welcomed me with open arms. And I am so grateful she did. I haven't felt this pretty in sooo long. I specifically asked for someone who works with blondes and she was a perfect fit. I just moved to Tucson last year and was looking for the right stylist for me and I will continue to see her in the future. It's a true challenge to find the right stylist when you are a blonde (if you know, you know) and I'm just so thankful for the whole experience. Yahaira Larson is a miracle worker! This review is overdue by a few weeks, but I felt compelled to get this out there so people would know about the amazing job she did on my locks! I had about 4+ inches of gray hair growth on dark reddish/brown hair and I’m not talking about those beautiful silver strands you see on some lucky gals…just unruly white…but Yahaira made my hair look like a million bucks when she was done! I’m on the road a lot for work and personal (#rvliving LOL) so it’s hard to know where I’ll be or where I’m going. That uncertainty is what had been delaying me on getting my hair did. Jake immediately looked at my hair and suggested the perfect style—a chic box bob that flatters my face shape and works beautifully with my natural hair texture. He also knew exactly how to care for grey hair, giving me a much-needed deep conditioning treatment that left my hair soft, shiny, and healthy.
