The Carol West Senior Center is Fantastic! Joe, a Udall Supervisor is the BEST!!! He always makes sure that everything is set up perfectly for the groups that have activities each week. Joe will help you in every way he is able to like getting a certain style of chair instead of another type because one type hurts your back, etc. There are activities all week long here and the membership fee for people living in the city of Tucson is only $25 per year which includes 2 days a week use of the WHOLE Entire facility (walking track inside, weight machines after an orientation class, indoor gym, basketball courts, swimming pool, pool tables, etc), not just the Carol West Senior Center Activities. There are senior exercise classes (extra fee for those as they are taught/sponsored by Pima Council on Aging), Canasta (Hand, Knee & Foot as well as Brazilian Canasta called Samba - WE will teach anyone how to play either game), Mexican Train Dominoes, Bridge, Shanghai, Chair Volleyball, Wii Bowling, Billiards, and many more activities that I have not attended yet or that I do not know about like movies every month, holiday luncheons/parties, field trips, crafts, etc. Just a great place for people to go and spend time doing...
Read moreI enjoyed the indoor track at one time, but now it seems like there are a lot of people who arrive in vans that are crowding the place. I think most of them are coming from halfway houses or drug rehab facilities. They fool around on the track and make it quite unsafe for some of the elderly and people who walk with canes or walkers. They also sit on the stairs so you have to go around them to get up or down to the track. I complained, but the guy I talked to didn’t seem to care. They have an attitude of hear nothing, see nothing, do nothing. Sometimes I see quite a few workers behind the entry desk but most are sitting on their butts doing nothing. I heard a few of them talking one day about a woman they found in a toilet stall who had slept there all night. Who’s checking this facility? I have a bit of advice for the manager. You’d better make sure your “workers” are surveying the place, because if someone gets hurt up there, there might be a big lawsuit coming your way. Don’t say you haven’t...

The eternal landfill gas burn in back is now adjoining new road in a crime against Earth now daringly displayed in front of overpass user's with more light and less close access.
The waste of heat adds up to terrawatts.
A water distiller could lease access to the fire to save millions on electricity.
Many processes depend upon such heat.
Most BELIEVE such flaring ended in 70s.
The ripoff revenue from other landfill gas piped to tep has tucson duped into thinking such is only way of using dirty or not methane.
The carbon dioxide is not as bad as methane is paradigm but it is underappreciated for twisted romance on past bridge concrete pillars so needs as vague as...
