Picked this because it was close to where we needed to be, and thats the ONLY good thing about it. We were just four dudes traveling and hiking the mountains of WA, so we didn't need any frills. And we didnt get any. The door on our room closed, but definitely wasn't sealed. I'd say it would be easy to kick in, but you could prob lean on it and it would collapse. But the 'management' (Damian) was terrible. So when we checked in, I of course provided my ID and CC. I received my CC back, but didn't notice that she didn't give back my license. Well when I get to the airport the next morning, as I'm standing in line for TSA (my flight was in 45 minutes), I notice I don't have my ID. Called the hotel...yep, they still had it (why didn't you let me know when I was STILL THERE??). Fortunately I had another form of ID, so I could get on board. There was no way I could have uber'd there and back, and I also thought that the hotel could mail me my ID. Well i call on Monday when I get back, speak to a young lady, who again confirmed they had my ID, but the manager would be the only one who could mail it back. She said he would call me. I wait two days, no call. So i call back, get the same young lady again, who says he doesn't come back in until Fri AM. OK, no problem, I'll call him them. I ask if he has an email...she provides to me and I email him. Of course no response. So I call on Friday, finally get hold of him. Yes he has my ID, yes he will mail it to me. Said it may not be today *(Friday) as he might not make it to post office on Friday, but definitely by Monday. I ask him if he got my email, he says hold on, let me check....Yep, he got it. I tell him he can just shoot tracking info there, thank you very much. Never got an email back. Call him on Tuesday....to confirm he sent on Monday as he said he would. Nope...he didnt get a chance to. Should be able to tmo. Still no email. I call again two days after that, get the girl again, and again...Damian isn't working, will be back in in a couple of days. I GIVE UP. THEY CANT DO IT. So I had to pay $35 for a replacement license, and NEVER GOT AN EMAIL OR CALL BACK FROM MANAGER. I will NEVER STAY AT A DAYS INN AGAIN. This one may be the worst, but its my most recent example, and I suggest you choose somewhere else to stay. Probably more convenient to stay in your car, or an empty cardboard box, as getting the management to do ANYTHING there (return a call, answer an email, mail a freakin ID)...
Read moreI thought this was the premier of the new “Trailer Park Boys”…. In all seriousness, stray away. It may be a good location due to the number of gas stations in walking distance but everything else will have you second guessing even sitting on the bed. Please see below and attached photos if you wish to book a one night stand; Check in was fine, they even have a seating area that’s cleaner than the room itself. The room number decal was missing and replaced and printed in black sharpee marker. The front desk noted it was a smoke free room and facility, however the stench of the room was unbearable to the point that it seemed the previous tenants just left after smoking a whole pack of cigarettes. It gets worse, read on… The couch had burn holes in it and it was more than visibly dirty, not even a goodwill would have taken it. The bed skirt had stains of I don’t know what but I was afraid to even touch it and cringed even looking it at. Aside from that and trying to be positive I said let’s look at the bedding itself to see if we should just avoid looking for an alternative nights stay… let’s not talk about the pillows that had visible stains on the back side after inspection. Let’s move to the washroom that consisted of major health hazards that the front desk graciously acknowledged without issue and apology. The door handle could’ve been removed by a toddler with the way it was hanging out of the actual door..we could’ve played peekaboo with the size of the hole between the door and the knob. last but not least, a part of the ceiling within the bathroom was caving in and they apparently thought that covering it with computer paper and scotch tape was going to hide the leak in the ceiling but it just so happen about 10 minutes after check in the tape starting falling off which revealed a massive health hazard that was, or tried to be, covered up minutes before check in.
After a considerable amount of time deciding whether to just deal with it or leave, we could only imagine how sanitary the room actually was and decided to leave and contact the front desk.
After heading to the front office we explained the issues and provided photos to which we did not receive an apology nor an offer of discount or anything to make the stay valuable. We left and found a last minute booking.
I was wondering when Randy was gonna show up and ask...
Read moreI stopped here during a cross-country road trip and this by far was my worst stay. I’m not one to complain but the issues-but the issues I had and the way they were “handled” by staff was far from okay. I checked in at 2am after driving 15 hours. I’m exhausted. I get to my room, the room is not great but it’s an older, cheap, hotel-it is what it is. But it just kept getting worse. My door barely shut, there is a gap that let in light, traffic noise, and cold air. Didn’t feel super safe. The heater was bashed in-but thankfully still worked. I get the to bathroom and there is a face towel covered in makeup that housekeeping clearly didn’t remove from a previous guest. Then I went to take a shower and not only is there hair in the bathtub-there is exposed wire from the light above it. So not feeling super safe or sure the room has been cleaned from the previous guest at all. I had to work in the morning so I went to bed, up at 6am just to realize the WiFi isn’t working. I called the office just to be told it hasn’t been working for days and then was told “We told you this when you checked in.” Which is a lie-I had to work, if this were the case I would have cancelled right then. I was told I could come talk to the manager at 10am. So I do and am told the manager will not be there for another 2 hours and am told the WiFi hasn’t been “out for days” but rather it just doesn’t work often because of how many people stay there. And was told this was normal and just is what it is-I shouldn’t expect to have WiFi (Even though this is the entire reason I decided to stay here). I told them about the issues I had and and I was told that cleanliness issues aren’t something they give refunds for. They also implied that if this actually bothered me-that I should have come down right after check in-(so 2am) so clearly it’s not that big of a deal. Never mind how much I’ve driven and how little I’ve slept over the past few days. I talked to the 3rd party I booked with and the hotel told them I never talked to anyone and played dumb. In short-don’t stay here. Any issues you have you will be gaslit about. And if you do-don’t expect to have WIFI-they advertise it but you shouldn’t expect to have it. And if your room isn’t clean-they’re not responsible for that...
