I recently had the pleasure of dining at this outstanding restaurant that expertly combines the vibrant flavors of Halal, Mediterranean, East African, and Somali cuisine. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance.
The menu was a culinary journey, offering a wide selection of delectable dishes that beautifully showcased the rich heritage of these regions. Every bite was a delightful discovery of unique spices and perfectly balanced flavors, leaving me craving more.
The Somali restaurant was a true standout, transporting me back to the heart of East Africa. The fragrant rice, marinated meats, and flavorful stews were irresistible. The restaurant's commitment to using high-quality, halal ingredients was evident, adding to the authenticity of each dish.
Equally impressive were the Mediterranean offerings, with their fresh ingredients and traditional recipes that evoked the sun-kissed shores of the Mediterranean Sea. From the mezze platters to the grilled kebabs and aromatic rice dishes, everything was prepared to perfection.
The attentive and knowledgeable staff provided excellent recommendations, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The restaurant's commitment to exceptional service was apparent throughout my visit.
If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience that combines Halal, Mediterranean, East African, and Somali cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. Whether you're a fan of exotic spices or simply looking to try something new, this establishment will leave you with a lasting impression. I can't wait to return and explore more of their tantalizing offerings!
A big thank you to the entire team for creating such a remarkable dining experience. Keep up the fantastic work!

Read moreWe weren't certain what to expect of this restaurant, but came because it had great ratings and is a style of food we don't have at home. I was a bit surprised to see it looked more like a diner than a restaurant, but don't let that deter you! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like old friends. The service from both the young gent who served us, and the slightly older man that I believe made our meals was personal, personable and genuinely wonderful. It felt like they really did want us to enjoy everything we tried, and they were super-happy to explain the different dishes while making us feel comfortable. We both had a Beef Sambusa to start. They came out piping hot and had a little dish of a green hot chili sauce with them. They were fantastic, and the sauce was good, with a nice bite to it. I had the Chicken Suugar Plate, which was very flavourful, very well done, very good, and a huge serving. My husband had the Goat Meat Plate, and it was also very tender, well seasoned, and a huge serving. We also both had a cup (okay, two cups!) of their Somali Tea, which was lightly sweet with cinnamon and allspice... very lovely!
So, get in there and try something new. You'll feel welcomed and you'll definitely leave with a very full and happy belly at a very reasonable price. Thanks folks,...
Read moreStopped by here after coming back from a long flight from Chicago. So glad they were open that night! Incredibly kind owners that were very welcoming to us and provided great recommendations. We ordered the beef suqaar and goat meat plate. They were out of some other plates because they are so popular. The food was so delicious that we licked our plates clean. Great community and absolutely delicious East African food. They even gave us some delicious bottomless tea to go with our meal. It was great to see cultural religious practice rented out in the restaurant as well; really provided a beautiful sight of cultural diversity and inclusion. Thank you for your welcoming service and for sharing your delicious food with us. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area! (Only recommendation is improvement on the decorations and interior of the restaurant, but they had just opened a few months ago when we...
