We think a different personality will have a totally different review.||||The house is gorgeous and immaculate. The rooms are quiet and secure. You will enjoy modern plumbing and private baths. The host takes serving guests personally and spends a lot of time to try to deliver quality service. There is wine in the fridge she lets guests enjoy in the back yard. Everything has a place and is put back in that place. You can eat off the floors of this house.||||The host is new to B&Bs and self-identifies as recently widowed. She likes to spend time with her guests and is an "open book" - her hosting style was not a good match for our vacation style. We are laid back and want to escape while on vacation. We are used to impersonal, concise instructions - e.g., 1-page (or less) emailed instructions about checkin, checkout. Instead, all of this is transmitted verbally during a personal tour of the house that seemed to wander. It is gorgeous and historical all in one! Dawn and I also found a lot to talk about relating to the arts and music, as her love for stained glass and stringed instruments matched my passions and areas of knowledge as well.
The surrounding countryside is stunning, and you will enjoy driving to the farms, parks and the beach. We also highly recommend the Alpaca farm!
We hope to come back! Thanks Dawn!

Read moreMy fiancee and I had the pleasure of staying here for a week. Over this week we had many great encounters with the host Dawn. She shared stories of her family, how they came to Two Rivers and why she decided to stay. We were also blessed to meet her mother, daughter and grand-daughter and spend a morning with 4 generations of her family.
She is a knowledgable host who loves to share information pertaining to local history and the people in her community. She makes it a point to learn who you are to make your visit unique. While staying here we got to meet a few sets of guests. The way she cared for each person was individual to their needs. I can not recommend Red Forest enough and I can guarantee we will be enjoying another stay...
