This lighthouse, built in 1928, was the second light that was located at the end of the nearby harbor breakwater. The 36 ft (11 m) square pyramidal wood tower was deactivated in 1969, and was relocated in 1975 by the Two Rivers Historical Society as part of the Rogers Street Fishing Village. The wide lower gallery and staircase were added in 1988 to permit public access. In 2003 the exterior of the lighthouse was restored, and there are plans to restore the interior. The original 6th order Sautter &Co. Fresnel lens, broken during the relocation, has been carefully restored in recent years and is on display at the lighthouse.
