If you’re around Two Rivers, WI you should take the time to stop in and check out the Washington House. Definitely a very cool historic building. Volunteers give tours of the house and you can still get ice cream. If you want to see the whole building make sure you have about an hour. They do have very limited hours, so make sure you check and see if they are open before you go. It’s worth your time to check it out and eat some ice cream at the end. The ice cream is very good but make sure you have cash with you to buy it.

Really sweet staff and very interesting museum of artifacts and whole-room setups from simpler days. No charge for the museum! I had a root beer float which was basically a parfait glass filled with vanilla ice cream and maybe a teaspoon of A&W root beer--but she gave me the rest of the can! I could refill as I pleased! 😁 Also, I left my favorite cap behind. Came the next day and they had it waiting for...

A wonderful FREE museum that captures the history of TR. We started with ice cream at their historic parlor and then explored the free museum.

We had fun looking up our parents and grandparents in their high school yearbooks. šŸ“š

I’ve always enjoyed the rooms behind the stage the most - the 1930s version of a barber shop, dentist, etc
