Thank you for amazing & friendly service.! You never know someone’s story and what they’re going through & providing simple sincere kindness has been shown continuously AND at all times even 10 ‘o’ clock at night or 8:30 in the morning always always always friendly real person to person treatment amongst already knowing we have a nice comfy bed (not one that sounds like springs & thinner than a child’s bunk bed, clean rooms, safe environments, towels, soap, room service for cleaning… thick walls vs paper thin…. An amazing breakfast….! Aka not WoodSpring Suites Tyler Rose which is down the road & slightly comparable in price/cheaper but makes this hotel literally a life saver for us (my son & myself… and his Bro Bro our service pup) This simple hotel experience has lifted my son’s spirit & even helped our sense of “normalcy”…! We went from having one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had and we’ve been on many since losing my husband in 2023 unexpectedly.. but even looking back to this one run down hotel that was full of horrible reviews using its retro horseshoe shaped hotel room & parking lot design with a fire pit in the middle for others to join together from different parts of the country into a trash pit that reeked… We put our belongings on top of the hard furniture/wood.. didn’t touch any fabric… laid down a blanket to lay on top of the bed & then use our own blankets to avoid the cross contamination of a urine in the carpet… toilet that was nastier than a rough gas station’s toilet… anyways my son ended up with a fresh tick and after luckily getting it off of him in the middle of the night after complaining of something biting him & it hurting and then finding ticks all over the couch I avoided putting our stuff on out of instinct… I politely brought the tick & disgust to the manager’s attention & he questioned me and repeatedly avoided any level of accountability & empathy over the room & tick… finally offered a $10 discount (the cost of getting my son a tetanus shot for the tick) and when I expressed still leaving reviews to make sure others know of the conditions there he then cancelled the refund as I left… it was the worst hotel experience… including the red roof in next to the airport in Oklahoma City & had so much marijuana coming through the huge gap at the bottom of the door I shoved a whole towel under to stop the second hand toke in mean smoke because I had my child in the room & truly don’t like it as a cup of tea nor near my child… but nooo it wasn’t that… it was the naked barely 18 female in the hallway covered in so much road grime of being homeless she was as gray as the road she had been walking on far too long too soon too young… as I loaded our car that morning I noticed the men rounding up the girls I realized I had run out of time to help her as she disappeared when I went back upstairs… again all of our worst hotel experiences… WoodSpring Suites will be the top of the list… that yellow building of a fake painted on sunshine masking a fake smile that’s careless, never actually made for guests, being even noticed or acknowledged after 15 minutes on average, the worst obvious they hate their jobs working there & are over it so anything they say if anything at all is as such… completely & absolutely opposite of this hotel & my son & my experience… I may write a book one day & this simple pleasant & sincere experience was light at the end of our tunnel coming from hell from one hotel for 25 days and even darker version of Hell prior to that. So… if you read this far… well THANK YOU… kindness is always a choice… always free… always a sincere person to person real gesture any human being can provide and I truly & sincerely THANK YOU all for providing...

Bed bugs. Bad. Service A customer book this room. She says it had a high ranking on her travel app. But. I would Stay away From this place. And the other one in Tyler. It was infested with roaches and bed bugs The room looked clean at 5 pm just a quick check. And. When we return at 8 pm. Got ready for bed. And this is my very ist time dealing with this kind of issue. I understand some wear and tear. But the bed bug I saw I flushed down the toilet. No pictures 😕 but at like 2;30 am. I got out of there quick . Gave the keys to the front desk. He did ask if I wanted another room. Told him. No, thank you. If there in one room. They might be in another. Because of the cleaning crew. They do a bad job at cleaning I sent an email to la Quinta service department on February 27 at 2:45 am, and today is March 2, 2023, at 9 am. And no email response. There are a few pictures I posted. But I am. I'm not happy with the lack of customer service, and I hope that the CEO of la Quinta. You Would think he would have better care for his customers, but I think all the higher up are worried about is ther paycheck. And not customers satisfaction, customer hospitality, or even just human decency. I don't think they ever stayed in one of there own hotel or motel I guess it's like apple. CEO. ITS GOOD FOR EVERYONE ELSE BUT NOTH THERE OWN KIDS No mater what amount a customer spends at any of your locations, YOU SHOULD CARE . CEO Keith A. Cline and ceo of other brands. Is not a good guy. My opinion he is out for hard-working Americans' money and in return, no value, no customer service no clean room. No good night rest. No refund. No NOTHING YOU GET WHAT YOU GET AND DONT THROW A FIT. Update As of today3 /3/23. They said they are looking into it. But no refund or anything else. I am still waiting on the...

Read about the WELFARE hotel before spending the night here! After driving 1495 miles straight, we were ready to sleep. This LaQuinta was very close to our destination. We checked in around 930 PM. At 10 PM we went to bed. Initially, I thought a group in the courtyard area near the pool were just talking loudly. I turned up the volume of the television and tried to ignore the noise. As the evening went on, and the amount of alcohol increased, the volume of this party in the courtyard increased. So much so that their noise, drowned out my television. I tried not to be petty and complain, but at 1200 AM I had had enough. I tried to call the front desk. Hmm.. the room phone does not work. I had to call the desk via my cell phone. I asked the clerk to shut down their party. At 100 AM the party-goers loudly returned to their rooms. Not only using exceptionally loud voices, but repeated door slamming and... of course a couple late night .arguments. Finally at 130 AM quiet. In the morning, I thought that this is odd behavior for travelers and tourists visiting the area. While checking out, I asked the clerk if they had "permanent residents residing at the hotel". She admitted that they have "guests who are waiting for housing". Wow...Just as expected "waiting for housing" is a nice way of saying , welfare recipiants. Outstanding... I paid $88 to sleep after a long trip and I'm kept awake half of the night by people who paid zero for their stay , have no regard for others and most certainly don't have anything to do the next day. They are able to sleep all day. The clerk in the morning was nice and apologized, but an apology seems pretty hollow. I am in town for 7 days. I would have stayed here, but went to a competitor who is not a...

I wish 0 stars was an option. The location was the only positive. I needed to be near the hospital and this served its purpose I suppose. The room was just not up to standard. It was dirty! I can deal with outdated but the filth was just terrible! In the night scratching in the walls could be heard and twice my mother saw roaches. And the room booked as handicapped was not. The tub is inaccessible to any guest with mobility issues. There was no bath chair, the edge of the tub is too high for people with limited mobility to enter. The day of checkout I walked into the lobby and the receptionist was yelling into the phone at a guest about a price dispute. I tried to alert her to the issues in our room and she was upset about me complaining saying I should have asked for a different room if there were issues. (If one room is this bad I’m sure the rest are too) I was simply trying to let her know about the issues we had. And I was speaking calm and polite. She was not accepting of me stating the issues. Even with me pointing out the issues for the room not really being handicapped accessible even though I booked it as such, she stated well we pass ada inspection. She was argumentative regarding all of the issues. I told her it’s ok I’ll take the issue up with Wyndham, and she loudly slammed her hands down on the counter. At that point I let her know I was just trying to bring the issues to her attention, not asking anything in return, but she continued with her snark and arguing. I did email Wyndham and received a standard reply from the hotel as apology but not addressing any of the issues I experienced.

COCKROACHES! STAY AWAY! DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY! Our shower is so clogged you end up taking a bath after 2 minutes. There are flies everywhere...I woke up at 1am to feed my newborn and there was a cockroach on the wall! I stopped feeding her to smash it in half and it fell on the floor behind the nightstand (pictured) and that's only HALF his body. It was HUGE! (That's not an over exaggeration). I went into the bathroom and there was one on the toilet so I knocked him in and flushed him. There's feral cats fighting outside our door and when I went to the front desk to tell them about the roaches and maybe give them a chance to make it right (the only thing I'll accept at this juncture is a refund)...but the front desk lady was yelling and fighting with three customers in the lobby because they had booked a room and when they got here they had canceled their room. It's 3am mind you. I left because I had my baby with me. Our room is musty and wet. My clothes are wet. Everything is WET! I'm just so itchy, uncomfortable and so ticked off right now I can't even put it into words. I came from the hilton down the street to be with my husband (this is the only dog friendly hotel around here down the street from my parents) and I can EASILY say I will not EVER recommend la Quinta or any Wyndom properties EVER again, let alone stay at one...only homestead suites from this day forward.

My room, 128, was not a good place. The commode was running the entire time, so the water in the toilet blow was always going up and down. The electrical socket by the bathroom sink didn't work. This I discovered when I tried to brew myself a cup of coffee with the mini coffee maker in my room. In addition, I also discovered that the previous filter with the used coffee bag was still set in the maker. The hair dryer by the sink didn't work since there was no electricity going to it. I found someone had unplugged the bedside clock radio along with the bedside, double lamps. When I plugged the bedside, double lamps back in, I found that someone had unscrewed the light bulb on the left lamp. Once I screwed that in all the way properly, the lamp worked with no problems. There was what appeared to be a large, red, ink stain by the left bed in the room. There's a photo of it here. Most distressingly, I found that someone had left a pair of soft, contact lenses on the bedside table. They had hardened to the surface so much that I could not pick them up with the kleenex to throw them away in the trash. When I checked out, I made the clerk at the checkout desk aware of all this. I don't blame the staff at the front desk for what was wrong with my room. I feel like this is more of a housekeeping issue along with things not being communicated.
