We had been to a crepe restaurant before so we were hoping Gypsea Crepes was just as good. They were. My entire family enjoyed their crepes. We ordered the 2 fruit crepes for the kiddos, with strawberry and banana, the Eddie for my husband, and the Moniz for myself. The Eddie had brie, apple slices, spinach, and other ingredients. The Moniz had turkey, spinach, provolone, basil pesto, and other ingredients. My son gobbled his crepe before i could get a picture and my daughter got started on hers too (you will see the bites in the pic). The crepes are filling so you only have to order 1. Only bad thing we noticed was that some of the crepes drip out of the paper wrap so you got to be careful with that or it will drip onto your clothes. The drinks were also delicious. Not sure the lemonade is housemade but it was still good. They also had iced tea, both sweet and unsweet. They also have coffee. My husband got a second cup because he said it tasted good (i.e. not Community Coffee). They also have Coca Cola products but they are bottled not fountain drinks. Overall, we would recommend this place and will definitely be coming back to try some...
Read moreMy fiancé and I enjoyed a really good breakfast from here the other day, we got a Sweet Bacon Crepe with Salsa inside and a Strawberry and Banana Crepe which came with Nutella inside. I added some whip cream and chocolate sauce on-top and we ordered an Iced Mocha coffee to go along with it.
The Sweet Bacon Crepe was really tasty and we definitely recommend getting it with the salsa because it just gave it that extra flavor which was fantastic!
The Strawberry and Banana crepe was perfect. A nice mixture with both fruits and the amount of Nutella inside was perfect. The fruit tasted fresh and I definitely recommend trying it.
Only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because the coffee was not that great. We didn’t really taste the mocha and the coffee did not taste good at all. I would not recommend getting the coffee due to this experience but you may have a different one if you go.
Other than that we definitely would like to go back and try a different crepe and we definitely recommend going here for...
Read moreVisited here for breakfast on our way out of town. So glad we did - Gypsea Crepes served us some of the best food we had on our trip!
Small, cute, and welcoming, this shop offers several takes on a dish that's a little more unique than the standard diner, bar, and seafood grub you find at PCB: crepes!
My parents and I opted for sweet crepes: banana, Nutella, whipped cream. My boyfriend had some sort of breakfast crepe that was on a special; I believe it had ham, spinach, and egg.
We all enjoyed our crepes. The service was friendly and got the food out quickly, despite the fact that they were a little busy.
My only complaint is that I felt they were a little light on the Nutella, and also I wish my crepe had been hotter. Despite being freshly made, it tasted room temperature. Not sure what cooled it down so quickly, but warm Nutella is love and I was missing it. Still, I'd definitely recommend this place for a tasty, unique, and quick breakfast, brunch, or...
