Firefly Inn — Hotel in Wardensville

I loved my stay at this gem of a motel. We stayed in the Trout Room with the double bed. The room was pretty small but oh so cozy. This place is clean and quiet. The finished and fixtures are modern and beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and linens, etc. I wasn't expecting the mini fridge, or the fine books about hiking trails, etc. There was even a convenient outlet equipped with a USB port for phone charging. I would have given 5 stars if the air conditioning unit was not super loud but it was loud enough to wake me up several times...

The stay at Firefly Inn was delightful. The atmosphere is chill and stylish, with cute, clean, modern décor throughout the room, and the bathroom was spacious and contemporary. Thoughtful touches like a wine‑bottle opener, complimentary water bottles, and a handy regional guides add a personal feel.

Check‑in was seamless, setting a relaxed tone from the moment we arrived. The location is central to the small town, a short walk to a convenience store, several food options, and a charming bookstore and café right next door, making snacks, meals, and a quick coffee...

The cutest little inn in the cutest little town! Firefly is just steps away from Drifter's Cafe, WordPlay books, and a great restaurant called Mack's. There's also a glass blowing place just down the road, so of course I had to buy some glasses to bring home. There was also a Second Saturday market with food, face painting, live music, etc. I was lucky enough to be in Wardensville when the leaves starting changing colors. If I'm ever back in town, I'll be staying at...
