I like to eat at this longtime Wardensville WV fixture which is a mix of antique/collectibles and home cooking, especially when their daily specials include something interesting. About a week ago it was the ramp burger (or you could get a ramp hot dog). Ramps are pungent wild onions found only under certain conditions in the mountains. The burger was cooked to order and quite delicious by itself, but the sauteed ramp topping really added something special to the meal, which I washed down with a shake.
