My Wife & I have been here in Watford here since May working on several Engineering projects , however since June we switched hotels an have been staying at Roosevelt Inn . First & Foremost the entire staff does practice safety procedures , housekeeping especially are covered to the nines doing what they do best . However we all ( Guests Included) practice the "Common Sense Guidelines " as well. Although unspoken as AMERICANS we are all aware of everyones personal space , even when checking in ( if your of any intelligence ) most of us made our reservations online , thus preventing us from having to get even more personal making a transaction with staff,( Exchanging money, Swipping cards , signing receipts) You know all that jazz. So we merely exchange pleasures from a distance an once they place the key card on the counter & most often steps away or returns to there work . Then we approach an retrieve our key cards & off yuh go . It's all those unfamiliar yet now new habbits we must all learn. I trust the house keepers yet I'm a clean freak so I go way above an beyond for my own personal comfort , for my sake & my lovely wife's . The Roosevelt also supplies adequate hand sanitizer thru out the complex especially at the beginning & end of the Continental Breakfast counter. Which you Obviously missed while being more entertained by Fox News. Had your peepers traveled one lousy foot to the right , you'd of noticed a remote control , which we can all guess is placed near the confines of the television for your viewing pleasure. But seeing how covid concerns so many in such childish an ridiculous ways, why bother trying to eat amongst groups of folks ? As most often I'll religiously sanitize while getting my breakfast an return to my "SAFE SANITIZED PLACE" To enjoy it free of prejudice & misconceptions , privately in my room. An Certainly Always Avoid nailing folks who just like you an I " Are Trying To Survive " . Stay clean, keep your distance & if your feeling unwell , Stay Away it's that simple. Take Care Y'all & Thank You Roosevelt Inn for not only being open but for your generous hospitality & treating everyone...
Read moreFront desk Annie was Extreemly rude. We had 2 rooms 4 people and was rude every time. They over charged our card, and when I would call to talk about the charges she would ask me to "call back she was busy." And hung up! (Who does that?) I called back to have her call me back when she was free, and she said "no!" And hung up again. Since she overchared my card by over $3000 with no phone call, I called to ask that she have a general manager call me in the morning. She refused to give me their names. She then told me "I dont have to do anything for you, your not my boss". It was very rude, and frustrating because this was $3000+ we are dealing with. This GIRL was very rude, especially to us, the entire time, not just one time, multiple times. I don't understand how they have good reviews because she has been a hassle to deal with this past week. I decided to move to a different place, they were a lot nicer to all of us. When I went to check out, she refused to allow me to check out, saying I had to check out in the morning. It was pure frustration to say the least. I would never recommend anyone ever stay here and I will never send anyone back there ever again. There are many other Hotels there with customer service. I'm not a picky person, but this was just... wow. The place we moved to has been amazing and has customer service. It really isn't worth the hassle. It's very frustrateing trying to be nice to, talk to, or give important information to someone who has the attitude of...
Read moreI live in Watford City, ND and my husband and I wanted a night to ourselves kid free. This is the only hotel we have ever found with a jacuzzi in the room within a 3 hour or so radius. The hotel is absolutely Adorable and beautiful! You can tell by the little details such as free homemade brownies(which were absolutely top notch amazing brownies!!), cookies and fresh iced lemon water, that this family owned business is loved and cherished. I love the old western feel, the wood, and the beautiful locally taken photos that cover the walls. The bed was comfy and the jacuzzi was perfect for 2. Complementary(not to keep)robes were folded neatly and set on the tub for us. Long, thick comfy robes! Rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff was top notch friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, hot and plentiful. For the hot breakfast served real eggs(scrambled), homemade style biscuits, sausage gravy, sausages links, and delicious crispy bacon. I strongly recommend this unique and cozy hotel for passerby strangers and local couples looking for a romantic night away from home and the kiddos. Also, itâs the perfect place to rent a room and have a...
