Runnings — Local services in Watford City

Struggled with a return with one of the associates. Had a picture of the receipt, but not the physical copy. Refused to look up or reprint a copy to help with the transaction. Customer service waa terrible. Her going in the back to bad mouth me to the manager was probably the only reason I thought it was necessary to put out a public post. I get finding quality employees can be a challenge, but I’m absolutely convinced after my experience today that the people working in the counter at this store are deliberately giving Home of Economy a bad name and can care less if they lost a customer or not because they’ll still get a paycheck. Edit in response to owner: all the stores in the circle around you are open, roads around town are good. And there’s no signage on the door stating that the store is closed or announcement on Facebook etc.

Would love to write a good review but… no. Showed up to the store during their open hours to find the doors locked and no one there. Sat around with others wondering why the store wasn’t open. Called their customer service line and was told they’d call the GM and find out why it wasn’t open and then call me back. Sat around for 45 minutes just for no one to call me back. For what its worth Home of Economy in Williston, Watford City and Dickinson does not believe in equality when it comes to women working in the oilfield. They have a very low selection of clothing if they have anything at all on the shelves. I'm lucky I secured one pair of jeans. 6 years I have dealt with this. Walked through the women's boots as well. They offer us "steel toe", no composite toe boots. What do you think steel does in -30 temps? Nope, I don't want frost bite this winter.
