From a 5 star review when I first ate here to now a 1 and me no longer welcome to eat here. New and completely relocated to Watford about 8 months ago. I oversee a business as well and it saddens me to give this review of such a great place to eat. We loved eating at the grill, food was overpriced but fantastic so we were able to justify. Service and wait time on other hand had been dropping. Today my family and I had to wait over 1.5 hrs and after that time couldn't wait anymore due to schedules. During the 1.5 hrs time we recieved refills 2x on coffee and water and last 30 minutes had none. When I got up to leave I informed the lady we would pay for the drinks but could not wait any longer on the food. She told me the food was coming right out. But I couldn't wait any longer and had to go. She then told me in front of the restaurant it was a crime in ND to order food without paying. I told her I would pay for the food then, but would not be back. She said "great! We don't want you or any of your people back" then hollered back at her staff I was being rude and to make my stuff to go. We left without getting our $90 of paid food and it's sad because we enjoyed being able to eat there. My "people" can now not go back due to how we were treated and asked not to. I recommend to everyone I see to be ware of this particular waitress or possibly owner as she seemed to speak for for the establishment. Great food, but terrible manners and customer service and they...
Read moreI live in South Florida but work oil field in North Dakota. guys I work with wanted to have the Sunday Breakfast Buffet after our night shift on Easter. walking in... the place is very clean and the staff is nice. it looks like a place you would see on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives... in appearance ONLY. There is a very prominent sign stating "Try our Pies".... and lists 13 different pies! I'm excited! Then I asked if they had grits and was told "you wouldn't want them if we had them". I'm not so excited now. 2 guys order the buffet, I order 1 egg over medium and small biscuits and gravy (saving room for pie) 2 guys come back with pre made waffles and powdered eggs. POWDERED EGGS?!? my meal arrives shortly with an overcooked egg, store bought biscuit and canned gravy. really? they don't make anything... but I'm still holding out for pie. I ask our nice waitress "do you make the pies here? ". she replies "we just bake them". the sign should say "try the pies we bought at Cashwise" the only thing they made was my chocolate milk. we were very disappointed. I don't understand how a restaurant can serve pre made...
Read moreWent to this place as it seemed to have many positive reviews. We got there and after ordering it took approximately 40 minutes to recieve SOME of the food. 3 of our 5 people got half of their meal items. The other half of the orders for 2 people came about 10 minutes later while they apologized. They said the whole other order (kids chicken strips) would be a bit longer still. Meanwhile the table behind us was asking for other parts of their order they did not receive and ended up leaving before in frustration. While waiting we could see in the kitchen with only 1 of the 3 cooks had gloves on and all of them were touching the food items with their hands. Our son got his chicken strips about 20 minutes after the rest of us had food.
I would not recommend. Took us an hour and a half, did not receive all the food even after asking a couple times, it was not busy in there, and "for the troubles" they comped the cheapest item we ordered being kids...
