American Mattress — Hotel in West Bloomfield Township

My boyfriend and I went here today to purchase our first mattress of our own. Firstly, the set up of the store itself could not have been more conducive to buyers. There were banners hung above the mattresses ranging in number from 1-10, with 1 being sleeping-on-the-floor firm and 10 being a nest of clouds. We were approached immediately by a very helpful associate named Christian. He asked us about how we slept (back? side? stomach? any back or shoulder problems? etc.) and from there recommended a place to start. He even profiled our sleep styles to match us with the perfect pillow (with a sanitary cover) to carry around the store with us! Secondly, we walked around and tried out several of the mattresses. Christian and another incredibly helpful associate, Derek, were standing by if we needed any help at all, and they used our feedback to help us narrow the selection down to our perfect fit-- a King-sized, 5-firmness mattress that felt like it was designed for our bodies. We didn't know what to expect as first time mattress buyers, but Christian and Derek made the entire process painless. Fun even! We had an incredible experience at this US-mattress location, and we will be recommending them...

We worked with Allen F. He was phenomenal! This guy was a true bed and pillow expert. He didn’t rush us through when we were trying beds. Actually encouraged us to stay on long enough to really get acclimated to the different types of beds. He was friendly, professional and open hearted. I liked how he was able to give us and another set of purchasers great customer service simultaneously. Our second time back he schooled us even more on the two we’d selected. I perspire while I sleep, and I got a bed that cools during sleep! We got twins that will be a king, so my husband and I can cool, or heat, and raise the head and feet as we desire. We are happy with our choice because Allen genuinely helped us find what was best for us. No slick salesperson persona, just a great guy who REALLY knows his beds, how we should place and use pillows, and what will help me sleep cooler and us both to sleep deeper at night....

Looking for a mattress we popped into US Mattress in West Bloomfield. Had the pleasure of working with Nanci Michaels whose knowledge of the product line was outstanding. She asked some great questions on our sleeping habits and quickly directed us to test two different mattresses she felt would suit our needs. Boy was she right. We decided on one and placed our order. Less than a week later we got a call setting up our delivery where two gentlemen came to my house, on time, took my old mattress and replaced it with the new one.
