The rooms in the area average $80 dollars a night. Some appear previous visitors check-out as new check-in. As nosey bystander, I noticed the "manager" demand additional payment every half hour, 😒. He left came back 30 minutes later. With the posture of one prepared to physically remove or dispatch authorities. Note: after a few moments of conversation, momentary exchange, he strode off content, exclaiming okay "30 more minutes." Look, I'm not naive to life on the bricks. His arrangements with his visitors, their business. Someone reading this review may be a weary traveler, not wanting to star in a "Wrong Turn" sequel. The owner is very abrupt, rude, uncouth, and feeling almost Godlike in the way that he will speak to his customers with no respect. not allowing any guests of course as they all on that West Capitol Avenue seem to have, I once had a guess which family member, and he came to the door knocking and literally without question just walked into the room with no respect to myself or privacy or that of me being a pain customer which without us they would be themselves without a home. I know what to look for when checking for bed bugs... This place has none. Maybe they did years ago, by some previous reviews, but not now.
The hosts are very kind. Maybe a little blunt but west cap avenue is full of tweekers and ghetto trash and they have to deal with their share. Despite that the hosts are wonderful people and the lady at the desk is a sweetheart! The rooms are clean, have king size beds, free WiFi, mini fridge/microwave and Dish tv.
