I would give this hotel a 0 but the lowest is a 1 star. Worst experience of my life. The hotel was extremely overpriced for the quality of it. There were bugs everywhere in my room, spider webs in almost every corner, and all of the furniture was torn apart. The bathroom was disgusting, and there was mold growing all over the shower curtain. I was in my room for about 3 seconds before I got a call from the manager SCREAMING at me that I had too many people in my room. They were just friends helping me unload my luggage! My friends ended up wanting to stay the night, so I went up to the front to ask what I had to pay to make that happen. The front desk lady told me that I only had to pay $10 extra per adult to stay the night. So, we had 2 free adults, 2 free kids, and 3 adults that I paid $10 extra for. It was a total of $150 for the night. The front desk lady told me that I didn't have to worry about getting charged for an extra room since I paid that fee. Well, one of the extra adults ended up not staying the night, so the next morning I went to the front desk and asked if there was anyway I could get $10 back for the adult that didn't stay. Before the front desk lady has a chance to open her mouth, the rude manager that had called me the night before started yelling at me in front of the entire lobby. He excused me of breaking all of the rules of the hotel and being a horrible guest. I said that I did what I was told to do in order to have all of my friends stay the night, but he told me I was a liar and that I had way more people staying than I actually did. I told him to go watch the 700 surveillance cameras he has up in the hotel and count how many people walked into my room that night. There was only 6! He continued to yell and yell and yell at me. I was so mad and embarrassed! He was extremely unprofessional (wearing sweatpants and an old torn shirt) and so unbelievably rude. He also blocked me and my friends from entering the breakfast area, and when we said excuse me, he looked and then stood more in the entry was so we couldn't get through! we ended up walking to the other entrance, but when we sat down to eat, he stood 3 feet away from us and just stared the entire time. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again, and I will tell all of my friends in whitewater to avoid it at all costs. I would have rather...
Read moreWe are hotel owners and travelers and I was reluctant to write this review however concerns were not addressed seriously. I am also a Wyndham Platinum member and have never stayed in a Wyndham like this. Myself and my staff booked 2 rooms as we were presenting for a conference. I initiated the request for my staff to check in ahead of me and mgmt stated to fax in the credit card and identification ahead in which I did. I also stated we were a nonprofit and she stated that what I faxed was sufficient. My staff was able to check in however when I arrived they stated I needed a copy of the letter of nonprofit in which that could have been faxed prior, I did have the number with me and they reluctantly accepted it.
We entered the 2 double bed room to find a teddy graham on the floor and when we opened the one bed and hair was throughout the sheets, we called to tell Reception and asked if the sheets were changed and she said she could do this at once, this was at 9:30pm, we checked the other bed and that was clean so we slept there. Throughout the night the heater kept coming on with a series of clicks like a car starting, my staff in her room also noted the same. When we told the front desk in the morning she stated only that she would let someone know. The towels were very old and thin. This hotel was not what we expected for a conference, a Wyndham property and paying well over $100 per night for this event. After we contacted Wyndham to let them know management did not address the particular concern but just apologized overall for dissatisfaction and stated we hoped we would come back. As a hotel owner, a traveler and a Wyndham member, the entire experience was...
Read moreWe booked through hotels.com and was charged $159 a night when it only cost $84 a night. When we asked to call the hotel directly we were told that we could not and it goes through them. We arrived to our hotel after. 2 and half hour drive and they told us they did not have the reservation. We showed them the confirmation number and then they found the room we had 4 adults and a 1 and 8 year old with us. They were knew how many were in the room at check in. Already irritated with the pay difference we just ignored it and signed for the payment. Our lesson learned to not go through hotels.com. The next day check out was at 12pm we were up and went swimming from 9am to 10am before heading home. After swimming we went to go back into our hotel room and they disarmed the keys before we checked out at the check out time of 12pm. As we looked to see the payment being drawn from our online banking account we found they charged an additional $20. When we went to ask why the front desk guy was completely rude and stated how the owners live in a different country. And then that because we had 2 adults extra (which they knew about at check in) they charged us but gave us no warning of the charge when we checked in. Now they have our card and we are unsure if they will do another transaction without our signature. Not only was this our problem but the beds were uncomfortable room was not fully cleaned they had spider webs in the corner and not even a fresh roll of toilet paper for their new guest. Will...
