Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Whitewater is a hidden gem that exceeded my expectations in every way. Nestled in the heart of Whitewater, Wisconsin, this hotel offers a comfortable and inviting stay that caters to both business and leisure travelers.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly and professional staff, setting the tone for my stay. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the staff provided me with all the information I needed about the hotel's amenities and local attractions.
The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The modern decor and comfortable furnishings made me feel right at home. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep during my stay. The room also featured a mini-fridge and microwave, which were convenient for storing and reheating snacks.
One standout feature of this hotel is the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast spread offered a variety of options, including hot and cold items, fresh fruit, and delicious coffee. It was a great way to start each day of my stay.
For those who like to stay active while traveling, the fitness center is well-equipped with a range of exercise machines and free weights. There's also an indoor pool, which is perfect for a relaxing swim or unwinding after a long day of work or exploration.
The location of Fairfield Inn & Suites is another highlight. It's within easy walking distance of downtown Whitewater, where you can find charming shops, restaurants, and bars. The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater campus is also nearby, making it a convenient choice for visiting friends or family.
In conclusion, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Whitewater offers exceptional value for the price. The friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and convenient location make it a top choice for travelers to Whitewater, whether for business or leisure. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning on my next visit...
Read moreI stayed at the relatively new Fairfield Inn Whitewater for 2 different 3-night stays within the last month or so, and both stays occurred on a Wednesday, Thursday & Friday evening (checked out Saturday AM both times). I work in Whitewater, and decided to stay here 2 different times during some construction that was being done on my residence, for some peace and quiet. This is the newest hotel in Whitewater, where lodging is somewhat lacking for a college town, and I enjoyed my stay both times. I had a standard room with king bed during both stays, and I was on the 3rd (top) floor both times, once on each side of the hotel. I found both stays to be very quiet, and even with being on Main Street, it is quiet with how the hotel was built "on its side" (it goes back from the street). Both rooms were relatively clean, and the beds were very comfortable! They could do a slightly better job vacuuming, and I noticed strange orange rust stains in the bathrooms of both rooms I have stayed in, which is odd for the hotel being so new. I have not had a chance to use many of the amenities here since I was busy with work during both stays (so it was highly "business" when I was staying), but a small pool (no hot tub) and fitness center is available. The daily breakfast is small but adequate, and they have some unusual but tasty offerings, such as 3-cheese jalapeno souffle, mini quiche bites, and various scones/biscuits. The coffee in the mornings is always fresh and bold! Overall, this is a nice place to stay, and this is probably the best choice in Whitewater! I enjoy using the Mobile Key feature on my phone to go directly to my room, but it seems to always check me out on Saturday AM before I am completely ready to leave, and I need to get a regular key card from the desk. I would recommend this hotel to others, and I will return for any future needs...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel due to location and price for a business trip. The hotel and staff on check-in were very good and one was in training and did okay. I had one issue and spoke to Sam and everything was taken care of. ||I was surprised when I returned after work that the room had not been made up. When I went to the front desk and spoke with a person who advised me they only clean (refresh) the rooms on the third day and make the rooms on the fifth. This disappointed me by taking a nice hotel into not much. I like when I travel for any reason to come back to a made up room. If someone from work would meet me it would be nice to be able to bring them to the room. The desk person told me this was implemented during Covid and they are continuing this as the staff turn over is high and it’s hard for the staff to clean all the rooms daily. Actually said the cleaning persons may get up to 20 rooms each to clean and its are on them to do more. Well my first thought was then the room rate should be lower as they are not paying help to clean the rooms. The room rate was kinda high for summer prior to school being in session. When I asked is it posted anywhere she told me on the room key holder and so it is. I don’t normally read that as it is mostly advertising. I again was taken back as the person who checked me in didn’t point it out or say anything regarding the cleaning policy. Anyway shame on you Marriott when you stay at a nice hotel you expect some service for the price or at least to see it in writing on the desk or the check-in person advising...
