Went to Walgreens the other day to pick up my prescription. Waited 10 minutes in the drive through and didn't move. My prescription was supposed to be ready by 3 PM, it was now 5 PM. I gave them my info and told me I had to wait 10-15 minutes for one of my prescriptions. I waited, they called my name.... I go up to the window and they tell me again that I have to wait 10-15 minutes for the same prescription. I informed the lady I already did and they called my name. She looks around and than informs me that they have to send in a request to my doctor due to a change in branding. Why in the world did they not tell me this before I waited 15 minutes!!!!! I asked when they were open till, they said 8 PM and I said I would be back. I came back to the location at 7:15 PM... get to the drive through window because I was not about to go inside again. I was than told they were completely out of stock of every single brand that they can exchange it with. They said they left me a voicemail about it, checked my phone, nothing. They said they will call me when its ready. I have not heard from them since, it has been a week. I understand that they are short staffed and miscommunication happens but this has not been the first time there have been issues with this location. If you need life saving medication, DO NOT GO HERE!!! They are not reliable, efficient, nor do they follow the hours posted the majority of the time. I will be changing everything over to the Walmart pharmacy as I get the chance which sadly wont be a while as I have to go out of...
Read moreThe store hours are absolutely terrible. Life doesn't wait until 9 am to need things and doesn't always end by 9 pm. If you have an emergency room or urgent care visit and are released with a prescription, you'll have to drive to Janesville to get it filled or wait until the next day, hoping it isn't something that is needed right away.
The pharmacy staff isn't the best either. They will leave multiple voice-mails for refills, often times with wrong information. They make you have a consultation about your "new meds" but do not give any actual information about the meds (side effects, whether to take with food or without, any bad interactions/side effects to look for...) they just read the Dr's notes, that were already gone over with the Dr when they prescribed it. Read morePrescription called in on a Friday afternoon to Walgreens, I called to see is it was ready at 7pm, recording said it was still being worked on, that I'd be called when it was ready....well Saturday came, still no call, so I CALLED them around 3ish to see if it was ready....Pharmacist answered my call, when I asked for the status of my prescription, she said she forgot to fill it, but was going to do that as soon as we hung up......REALLY??? This PHARMACY is known for their unorganization and thier shinnanigans....I only have them listed on my medical records as my pharmacy because I live close by. But I will make the drive to go to CVS Pharmacy in Janesville and change the pharmacy listing on my records... what an AIRHEAD for the pharmacist to say...
