Realy like ur pizza. So much so that we live 1hr away to the south. would drive up a couple of times a year just for takeout.. Now this year my sons girlfriend goes to UW Whitewater and he drives up to see her twice a week and with it being winter. i told him i was going to order some pizza and he could pick it up and it would be fine in his truck till he drove back home. So around 2pm today i placed a order threw the app(first time i think i used it) for pickup on 2/23/21 at 530pm for the special 2 larges and a party breadstick.. Then around 250pm i realized i forgot to order the small pizza my daughter wanted so i used the app again and place the pick up at the same date and time. Im still wondering why he didnt call me when he was there.. Didnt find out this till he got home around10pm. And only had 1 large and the breadsticks.. The other large was for him and his girlfriend her room mate.. He said he asked them about the small pizza and they told him they didnt have a order for it. And it would have been fine ifni was going to have him pay at pick up but a pre paid threw the app so all he had to do was pick up the pizza's... They must have not even look to see if they overlooked the 2nd order for the small cuz i got a confirmation email for both orders and i dont undertand why he didnt call when he was ther cuz he new they were...
Read moreI think Rocky Rococco's pizza is underrated. Is this a New York or Chicago pie purveyor? No. But their pizza IS tasty. Their breadsticks are also a must have. I think what makes his place so unique as that my sense when I am inside is like a fast food place or a mexican restaurant, but its not. Its a pizza place. Whenever my wife and I visit Wisconsin we always stop in for a quick slice and sticks. It just takes us back. The young lady who was our service staff seemed to be working relatively alone. She was manning the window, the counter, serving guests, and cleaning. I almost felt bad that she was so busy. I wanted to have her sit down for a slice and a break but I am sure that's against the rules. We went on a Sunday afternoon which I thought would be more busy then it was. Thers was a steady flow of customers but the dining room was almost empty. I dont think many folks like eat-in pizza joints but I do. I'm glad his one is still around! I rate a solid 4 in the category of low priced...
Read moreThis had been a monthly goto instead of Madison, but the last two times has disappointed us to the point that we will probably be going to Madison for our Rocky fix from now on. Both times the iwner was not present and the staff stood around. Took an hour and ten minutes to get the pizza the time before. This last time it took just a hair under an hour. The pizza was lukewarm as if it had sat under the hear lamps for twenty plus minutes. Both times were to get garlic bread before the pizza and first time it came out after, and this last time came with and was like croutons. So bad that I was asking the staff across the restaurant if they had salads for my croutons. No other customers were in the restaurant at the time so it was a good time to call that part out. Just horrible leaving teenagers to their own accord...
