To the goofy person who said there were bedbugs and left a photo, that is silly. That is a mosquito and what looks to be lint. Now technically a mosquito is a bug and it was on the bed, but that is NOT a bedbug! I always check mattress for bedbugs and found nothing. I got this OYO hotel for $35 having reserved a week in advance. I figured if it was horrible I was only out 35 bucks and would stay elsewhere. But to my surprise, it really its pretty nice!! The rooms are decent, clean, and the location feels safe as it is located next to another big hotel. Yeah the furniture could use some updating (and maybe some dusting) and the appliances aren't top of the line, but hey all I wanted was a decent place to stay on a long trip. What I got was a pretty nice place, it ain't the Ritz, but it sure ain't a dive. I would definitely stay here again, but wouldn't pay more than $80 for a weeknight unless it was a special event. At $80 this would be a 3 to 4 star, at $100 I would have given a 3 star (for travelers that should make sense). The staff was nice and very professional, Brenda checked me in and it was super fast and easy. Brenda was knowledgeable about OYO which was neat and in the future I will give them a try again. I reserved thru Expedia, overall very easy and I didn't have to pay until I got in. They also have neat text messaging alerts and confirmations set up which was really cool. The yellowish photo was due to my camera flash. There is a little noise as my room is right next to the lobby but it isn't too bad. I had a little issue using my room key and the manager helped me right away and was very polite. Overall, I would recommend this place. It isn't one of my hidden "gems", but it certainly is...
Read moreI am a business traveler and typically at Days Inn or LaQuinta. This was the worst experience I have EVER had at any Wyndham locations! The third day I wanted to make sure I retained my room so I call into Wyndham and paid for my reservation. When I returned and went to pick up my keys, the manager told me I had been smoking in the room ( I don't smoke) and that I would have to leave in a elevated voice, in the lobby, in front of other quests and staff. I quietly left humiliated so I called reservations. They called they same manager and was met with the same rudeness! When I asked for a refund, I was told they don't issue refunds.
This is the cleanest OYO in Wichita Falls, Texas. The lady at night (with the baby) kept me coming back and worked hard to make sure we were happy with our stay. Has laundry room, very roomy, quiet rooms, and air conditioning works well. Pillows aren’t the best and there isn’t free breakfast, but it’s within walking distance to a grocery store and a Taco Bell. Best price for a quality stay is Monday-Thursday for $49.99. You won’t get this pricing through the app. You’ll need to go in person to reserve the room. Vending machine by the elevator hardly works. Ice machine is on the first floor. Stairs only go up to the second floor. I...
