The Asian kitchen left much to be desired during our recent visit. The $29 price tag did not match the disappointing quality of the food we received. The chicken lo mein lacked any real flavor, except for an overwhelming taste of salt and oil. The chicken itself tasted more like turkey than chicken, which was a major letdown. The house fried rice was a mixed bag, with clumps of different flavors throughout. It seemed as though some portions had been reheated and mixed in with freshly cooked food. The cheese wontons were a complete miss, tasting more like sweet fried cheesecake pastries than the savory appetizer we were expecting. However, the saving grace of the meal were the sesame balls, which were surprisingly perfect in taste and texture. Overall, we were thoroughly disappointed by our experience at The Asian Kitchen. We expected much more for the price we paid and unfortunately, we left feeling unsatisfied. We wouldn't recommend this restaurant to others looking for...
Read moreI give this restaurant a 4-4.5 star rating. The customer service is outstanding. It was my first visit and he took the time to explain the menu options and lunch menu. He even gave me options that weren’t included on the printed menu. Unfortunately, the orange beef didn’t come in a lunch portion but now I have leftovers.
I ordered the spring rolls and cheese wontons as appetizers. I was sad to see that the spring rolls didn’t come with a sauce. I love sauce and luckily I had an extra duck sauce packet in my car console. The cream cheese wontons also didn’t have a sauce so I used the orange beef sauce that came with my entree. The sauce was a little more gelatinous than I’m used to but had the right amount of heat for me. The rice was steam hot and paired well with the beef. I would eat here again to try other items. Definitely a good dining option for Wichita Falls.

Read moreVery nice staff and delicious food at a very reasonable price. I have consistently ordered take out and it is always ready in 10 to 15 minutes, pipping hot!
As a warning, be sure to get your sweet and sour or hot and sour chicken home fast, and maybe open it a bit sooner, so the steam doesn't murder that delicious CRUNCH of the batter! The staff were kind enough to poke holes for the take out to vent a little, but giving it a little fresh air really did the trick!
Good portion sizes as well, particularly the dinner sizes. Nothing has disappointed and everything has been delightful so far!
Reading through some of the older reviews, it seems they've addressed any of the concerns listed. I know the egg roles were solid, not overly greasy, and I'll be try some of their noodle dishes soon to give you all an update if...
