Elegant Nails — Local services in Pennsville Township

EDIT- my previous review is below. This was the case with the old staff. Today I visited and asked to have nails toes and eyebrows done. I let them know when I came in who I wanted to see and asked if I would be able to have those services completed before they close. I was told yes. I arrived at 4:20 and they close at 6:00pm. The young lady that told me this then came back after I was seated at the pedicure chair and asked if I wanted to wait on the first girl for everything or if she could do my toes and let the other woman do my nails. I said yes she can. She starts my toenails then she files my toe nail crooked and then tried to fix it but was unable to. She told me to sit and wait for the woman to call me for my nails. I say waiting for my nails to be done from 5 to 5:35 at which time the owner comes to tell me that I will not be getting my other services completed because they close at 6 pm. I asked why I was not told this before they did my toes and changed my polish leaving me mix matched with my fingers old paint . He said next time you come earlier. I explained that the woman told me just as he did that I had time for all of these services when I arrived. He looked at me and said it was my fault because I requested someone special. I explained it was not my fault because I requested her BEFORE you started my service and you both told me ok and that’s fine and I would be complete before you closed. He said come back another day. So, now I am part of a wedding party with mixed matched toes and fingers from the rest of the bridal party. I am also infuriated because each time I go I tip them at least $10 per service I receive which is well over 20% especially if that worker does all my services . I usually spend well over $100- $150 each visit. Unfortunately, I’ve learned that I have been referring people to them and they could care less about customer service. The gentleman that was doing my services before is gone and customer service , customer care, respect and appreciation of funds spent with them are no more. I would not spend my money here again and I am very ff to find another place to deserve my hard earned money. So after years I’m moving on. Don’t let these people take your money and give you anything less than what you deserve ! I’m also calling the better business bureau because they should have just told me no they could not complete the service and sent me to find someone else. At least I would still match if it wasn’t the wedding colors and I wouldn’t be out of money I have to spend again if someone else doesn’t have the color I need!

Awesome service, awesome staff. It was beautiful inside. Very new decor and the atmosphere was relaxing. They definitely made me feel welcomed and respected. I will definitely be spending my money here...

These people is crazy and out their mind. The lady was doing my nails I was telling her that my nails was too long and she insists on continue to paint my nails, telling me not right now and then she starts to laugh as if something was tf funnyyyyy I told her my nails is too long and I want them cut down. She got mad and caught a attitude and the guy told me that she can take the polish off of 5 toenails and he was going to charge me $30. They could never get my money everrrrrr again. How are you going to charge me $30 for five toenails??????? And Henry got mad because I told him that I didn’t want the lady doing my nails. I wanted somebody else to do my nails and he caught a attitude and told me don’t come back to the nail salon anymore. I told him that I can spend my money elsewhere. You’re not the only nail salon here in the United States. I explain to him if I’m getting a service done and I’m paying you my money you supposed to do exactly what I tell you to do not whattttttt you want to do...

I don't get nails done often so I'm not an expert on fake nails. I felt that my tech may not have been the most experienced. I had to ask her to shape my thumb nail like the rest as it was very uneven originally. Additionally, I showed her a design which she agreed to do. However what she did was not similar enough to what I asked for. I don't believe she does designs and so I asked her to take it off and not to put a design. I normally would just let it go if it's cute but it wasn't flattering. She was polite and so it wasn't a negative experience per say. I just couldn't get exactly what I wanted.
