I know that it probably wasn't pleasant for some. When we got there it wasn't either but that wasn't due to the staff it was due to a women that lived there that was inserting herself into buisness that wasn't hers in regards to the site number we were given. Luckily, Chad and a gentleman who said he was Kathy's son came out. Chad was awesome he was helping us all the way but unfortunately due to our 30 foot camper along with our truck which is long it being very dark and the women just being loud and annoying we couldn't successfully park in the spot. They got Kathy on the phone she told us which spot was available, and Chad took us to the spot and helped us until we were fully parked. This was after hours, so we are so grateful that Chad was there, and he did his absolute best to make sure we were parked and set. I then called the after hour phone number Nancy picked up and informed her of the situation. She set us up in the computer for that site number we moved to. The following morning, we finalized everything with Vicky.Checking out, my spouse asked a gentleman that worked there about our way getting out he was nice enough to knock on the door of the next site so they can move their car so we could just pull straight out.Than we ran into Chad again, and again, he made sure we were OK coming out he is awesome for sure. I was able to meet Leslie, who I spoke to during my booking, such a sweet person. This was our final stop for our road trip, and we were happy it was good. Rv parks are limited in these parts. The area and people in the park shouldn't affect your experience and ours was good for the days we stayed. Now, if you're absolutely picky, which I understand , then make sure you stop by first to see if there is availability and meet the staff and judge from there. Again, for the amount you will pay in these parts conveniently.located in the heart of things it's not going to be easy to...
Read moreI want to be fair with this review as the people were so incredibly nice here. There were a LOT of cons to the pros of staying here. As a Google Guide, I give you my honest opinion.
Pros: Super Nice People run the park. There’s a beautiful pool area that even kids can enjoy. They have laundry as well. Price was decent for the area for a few nights and backing into our spot was easy. The landscaping is kept pretty pristine in there for the area that it’s in. They can accommodate lots of different RV’s.
Cons: Ants. Ants. Ants. Ants. No, we are not a dirty RV. We keep food and water put away and clean up after every meal, but yet we were inundated with Ants so bad we had to bug spray our entire RV inside and out. We had to move animals outside and wait. When my husband mentioned the ant problem at check out the lady was like “yeah you should spray your tires and around your site”. This sort of information would have been helpful BEFORE we were inundated with them. Before check in. We were backed up to ant infested bushes and trees and a broken fence where car racing and loud music continued well past 3am. The laundry machines are credit card or ap only and DONT always work. Some People who live there leave their laundry in the machines for hours, wet or dry, and make people wait. We ended up drying two loads of laundry in our rv because they won’t let you dry clothes outside even tho their dryers wouldn’t work.
Unfortunately, we will never stay here again. The ant problem was the worst of it for us. We’re still dealing with it. We’re grateful for a place to stay but hope they try better with travelers than they do. They cater to more full-time rv park folk, who get the great un-infested spots. If you don’t want to be back up to a broken fence and parking lot or a bunch of ant infested trees, ask ahead of time to be put in a different area of the park or just...
Read moreThe only reason I gave this park a 2 is because of the office staff and the gentleman who escorted us to our site, they were all super friendly. This park is super cramped. Our so called "patio" had a small round table that was broken and 2 chairs that were so dirty we couldn't sit on them. Our patio was exactly 3 inches from our neighbors sewer hookup, so who would want to eat outside? Random cars and trucks parked haphazardly throughout the park. I am ok with them not having a dog area, but at least provide dog stations with bags. Took my small dog out a few times and each time I had to be super careful not to step in anything, I guess not everyone is a good neighbor when cleaning up after their dogs. We also had a woman constantly cutting thru our site. I specifically told person on phone when I called to reserve that we had a Dodge Ram pulling our 31 foot trailer and she assured me the site was big enough to accommodate both. It was not and we had to park next to site on the grass which made us feel even more boxed in the site. My main complaint I guess was the fact that no where on their website does it say that you have to reserve a 2 hour time slot to use the pool. I only learned of this while reading reviews. I called soon after I read that and asked to reserve a slot. I realize this is in part due to covid, but if you don't let people know this ahead of time, I feel that's not fair. Especially since the pool is only open from 9-3 on weekends, which is a bummer in itself. I was told on the phone that there is no way for office to add or take anything off of website because corporate takes care of that. I'm guessing corporate doesn't take the time to come and visit this park. Again, let me say the only good thing about park was the staff. So before booking,...
