I met the founders in 2020 in the beginning of their enterprise. I ordered my seamoss from them and was amazed at the high quality. I've ordered from other places and nothing comes close to their commitment to fresh and organic herbs and supplements. I recently visited their flagship store and my goodness! Have you ever been to a "health food store" and found it smelly and more akin to a flea market with random assorted goods? Well New Legacy Vegans is nothing like that! It is an ELEVATED, ORGANIC and CLASSY EXPERIENCE! When you walk in you notice the organized shelves, the spaciousness, the clean look, the exquisite branding and the commitment to providing quality foods, juices, herbs and supplements. The founders are friendly, offer samples of food and answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend this place for you health and wellness needs. And don't just stop at the herbs and seamoss, you MUST TRY THE FOOD! Their soulful and Caribbean approach to dishes such as banana pudding, porridge and oyster mushroom soup are to LIVE FOR! From the seasonings to the garnishing, I have never known a health food restaurant that is as meticulously health conscious as this one. Secondly, their food is amazing. You can taste the Jamaican and Indian in everything that they make. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is on a serious alkaline health journey. It's a small business, so please know that they serve hot foods on Fridays and I think on Saturdays, and pre-prepped foods on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This Mother Daughter Duo has been a gem, and has served the plant based community from a home based business to brick and mortar for 6 + years, consistently serving up incredible, chef-curated plant-based dishes.
