KFC — Restaurant in Florida

The chicken was overcooked. It was dark brown. In fact, it was burned. I watched as they filled order after order and every tray they pulled chicken from was dark brown. I thought it was just the lighting, but clearly it was not. There's no excuse for putting out bad product, especially when you KNOW something is wong. How do you mess up like that when everything is supposed to be so precisely timed. I have supplied photos. I mean it was so obvious.

Historically, this location has been consistently INCONSISTENT over the twenty plus years I have been going there. It's just a lousy franchise location that I usually avoid. They were better for a while following their fairly recent, complete remodel, but they have fallen back into old, substandard form. Sometimes they get the chicken right, but USUALLY they don't. They are very close by, I was tired, I was hungry; so I took a chance. I usually go to one of two OTHER locations to get good KFC, since all locations are NOT created equal. Some are better than others. SO, I recommend you go elsewhere and leave this location out of the picture. This was definitely NOT the KFC I expected. I've been loving it since I was a kid, this was absolutely awful, AWFUL chicken. I called the manager and I called corporate offices as well. They need to get their act together. They are definitely not following proper timing procedures for cooking...

If I had been able to rate as 0, I would have. I ordered food from this location, off of door dash for my children and I. And to my surprise when my food arrived upon opening the bucket of chicken I first noticed that the breading on the chicken was incredibly soggy (not even golden brown) (more like wet raw breading)... So I'm like alrighty then. I go ahead and made plates and and told the kids to pluck it off. Well I was starting to eat mine (a breast) when with my first bite I got an over whelming taste of straight iron in my mouth. It was so potent that I almost threw up. I start breaking up the chicken I was eating and found that it was so under cooked (not only close to the bone but under the top layer) that the top layer was the only thing cooked. I had to throw away almost 50 bucks worth of food. I called and asked the manager if he were overseeing food production and he said yes then proceeded to say that he would replace my order. I will never eat food from this location ever again. And how they choose to serve food so under cooked is beyond me. Get it together northern lights location. You guys are feeding children and babies this garbage. People can and will get sick...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Easily the worst fast food option in the area. The employees there are incapable of getting your order correct. Every order I've placed (all drive thru) has had a missing or incorrect item, if not numerous items wrong/missing.

They are constantly "out" of chicken (ironic) and the food is usually dry/old, which likely means they were unwilling to make items a few hours before closing and have decided to rely on the leftover food from dinner rush.

Service is abysmal. On numerous occasions I've had to wait 15-20 minutes for the food I've ordered, longer when they have gotten the order wrong. The dreaded "Pull up and we'll bring your food out to you" has happened every time I've gone, even on single meal orders.

It is clear the store manager is not equipped to handle their duties. Every employee I've interacted with has been stoned, has an attitude, lacks base communication skills, or all of the above. It's clear they don't care and/or don't face any consequences for their actions at work.

Save your mental energy for other things and just buy your last minute...
