Overall the woman who gave me service was nice, but she had no experience with the service that I wanted or my type of hair. The salon overall was also very unprofessional.

They left me in a corner of the room (the "waiting" area) for FIFTY FIVE minutes after I arrived at my scheduled time. No one said a word to me the entire time that I was waiting, either to inform me of how long I'd be waiting or check to see that I hadn't died or anything. My stylist was nice and polite, but she obviously had no experience working with natural hair or installing a weave. The end result looked terrible, which I didn't discover until after already leaving the salon. She did not flat iron the weave. She loaded product onto my natural hair which did not help to straighten it, but made it extremely difficult to work with and made the tracks very sticky. I had to go home and clean the hair up. I am so disappointed that I paid $100+ to have my hair look worse than anything that I could have done at home. I explicitly told her that my hair was natural, and she gave no indication that this would be a problem. On top of all of this, most of the stylists require that you pay before receiving service, although my stylist did not. One of the stylists who did require this, was in the habit of sitting her clients under a dryer, instructing them to leave when they felt they were done and then moving on to the next client without a second glance. When she got to her last client she did the same thing and then LEFT. She didn't return. The client, who didn't seem to mind, felt her hair after a few minutes, decided she was finished, and left too. There are apparently two Xtension Xpresses. The main one being located in ft. Lauderdale. The Ft. Lauderdale salon is the one pictured in all of the websites and any media. This salon is like the ugly step sister that the family is trying to hide. I was so disappointed to come into this leased room, and receive poor quality service after all the guarantees I saw on the official websites. The stylists here are independent contractors who just use the name Xtension Xpress. I can't speak for the Ft. Lauderdale location, but DO NOT come to the West Palm Beach location unless you're ok with poor quality service. If I could give them no stars I would because the lady who answered the phone was very nasty and rude I have never been there and will never go because if you treat customers like that over the phone I only imagine how you treat them in person nasty

I have came here a few times over the last ten years to get a hair weave. The stylists work in a full service professional capacity. I'm sure they probably could do any style but the salon itself specialize in hair weaves that are sew-ins. Prices were fabulous and the end result was just what I was praying for. Thanks God. It's suggested you bring your own hair. And since the style could last up to 2 months, you should buy 2 or 3 Brazilian bundles or the 3 pack bundle of Brazilian in any texture. I liked the one that has one of each length (12',14' and 16'). The stylists can really get your style to look natural using this type of bundle pack. As far as price, I went with the most expensive, $85. Because my hair is natural and short so I didn't want any of my hair showing. The stylists are all trained to stay with the Xtension Xpress brand so when braiding down hair they add a little more loose extension to support your braids and the hair is braided down securely.
