Please do not plan a stay around what management tells you on the phone or in emails. We contacted the park about a long term stay in a fifth wheel we were looking to purchase. They said no problem, they had availability. We told them year make and model, again no problem. We purchased the unit, called to make arrangements for a spot and they told us they would not accept the unit. Suddenly, they don't accept anything under 2000 model and ours is a 1997. They were very rude and unapologetic about the denial. I hate for anyone to plan a trip to Florida, show up and not have a place to stay like they did to us. Attached is a photo of the fifth wheel for reference to see it's not an old, bad looking unit.

We had a great stay at Stage Stop Campground. My family of 4 (children 8 and 11) stayed two nights in one of the conestoga wagons. It was such a neat (unique) way to camp. I was shocked to find that we had our own private bath house directly behind the wagon. The wagon and bathroom was very clean and they provided all of the linens. We found the staff to be kind and helpful. Stage Stop is only 30 minutes from magic Kingdom and keeps you out of the hustle and bustle of being any closer to the parks. Downtown winter garden is a short 10 min drive and such a cute little town to explore...shops, restaurants and desserts.

We stayed here 1 night. Staff was very nice and the grounds were clean. Reason for the 2 stars is that all the trailers were right next to the hwy and the loud noise was constant even throughout the night. Even a time when we heard what sounded like cars racing. It was also somewhat spendy for no hook ups.

Waited a long time to write this review so I would have a clear head. I full time in my RV so that I can stay out of hotels because I travel for my work. So I am always on the hunt for a nice place to plug my house in. This is simply not that place. I stayed in far left back (looking at the park from the street) slots189. l was between an trailer house with a garden and an (Vietnam?) Veteran. This spot was chose because the front desk said I could have internet ran to my RV on this spot. Upon backing the RV in and setting up all seemed well. Aside from the fact I had to dig my sewer connection up from an encroaching neibneighbor. Same for water and electric. All seemed good. Here's where it goes south. I am here during the rainy season and drive a 3/4 ton with all terains and work nights. During my stay my slot became muddy as did most everyone else's slot that parked in the same spot every day. Well, apparently my neighbor the veteron neighbor took offense to this. I sleep during the day and work nights. On sveral occasions this guy would drive stakes in the ground(marking "his") territory and even attempting to block my truck in by parking behind me. This is all while the guy with the garden on the other side runs power tools (air compressor, grinder, chop saw, and skill saws) just about every day. Now I would like to think I am a patient person but they day he blocked me in something just came up one and I had a tantrum and slung Mudd across his car in my attempt to get out. Childish I know. But I was late for work. Through my shift I felt rather bad and was going to apologise and offer to have his car detailed. This is when I get a phone call from my RV mate saying the vet had issued a death threat against me. Said he was as evil as his last name and would stop at nothing to kill me. I take this information to the office and they basitsay screw off and that I was being petty. They called me petty after refusing several off my packages with my name on it because (I) was causing a stink at the RV park. I promptly demanded a refund(to which I was denied). I called the local police and requested they escort me out in case buddy decided he was going to act. As a side note I have bring your own weedeater and lawn mower. You will need it. And appatits stay 3 weeks get the 4th week free. I also talked to other local rv peeps in the near vicinity. These two hooligans have basically ran evrev person off this spot. I wouldn't stay here. I sure as heck wouldn't bring your kids here. If you ride a Bick around for excersice watch out for the heavy set guy on the golf cart. He drives around using his can to operate the gas pedal and almost ran me over on sveral occasions. This is also the guy that...

I have not visited the park but not from lack of trying. I reached out to the campground mid 2021. We planned to full time for 2022. I was told that they would not be taking full time until spring 2022. I was able to find a great RV park to stay in the mean time.

I reached out again in March 2022 to see if they would have an opening in April. I was told by someone that they would not have openings until maybe May or June. I was told to call back in April to check. I had my husband call and he was told that we could come in April but we would have to change spots after a week then we could stay full time. I called to place the deposit but was told that they don’t work that way because it was first come first serve and that campers are allowed to stay as long as needed in their spot but that they had no openings until June.

I called back second week of April and was able to speak with Craig. He told me that I would just need to send pictures of my rig for approval. This was the first mention of approvals for age. I did not see it on their website nor from all the communications previously. I sent pictures of my rig which had been freshly painted with no body damage. I was told they could not approval at this time. They did not cite condition or any reasoning.

I was given the run around for nearly a year by the campground just for a denial with no reason cited. I’ve been trying to set up spots with cites all over central Florida and I am aware that many are being acquired by companies. I’ve only ever been treated this way by companies that were recently purchased. It’s the parks right to deny whoever they please but if you are a person who appreciates straightforward communication, customer service, and consideration from a business this just isn’t the place to get it in my experience. Older rigs no matter the condition are being systematically phased out by corporate managed parks but this park mentions nothing about restrictions.

I see that some people have had great experiences but this was ridiculous. It’s disappointing because the park looks lovely and is in a...

You’d be better off staying literally ANYWHERE ELSE! First of all there is no shade anywhere you will be pouring sweat and melting inside your trailer and the second you step outside. The price to stay here IS OUTRAGEOUS. In 3 years it went from $750 to $1200 a month all just to stay on a dirt lot ruin your rig and sink into the mud. The acidic soil will eat away at your tires and jacks QUICKLY. The lawn crew is HORRIBLE they are extremely rude and disrespectful and they will drive in circles around your trailer with an awful loud riding mower EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! You can forget about peaceful that doesn’t exist here. You have nice vehicles? Not anymore they will make sure they throw grass all over them and let it bake in the hot sun right into your paint. Have the weekend off and want to go swimming? FORGET ABOUT IT they will make sure the pool is chained up so you can’t do anything but be hot and miserable. They will constantly leave paper notices on your door about anything they don’t like and threaten you. The lawn crew isn’t a professional company like it should be they are bozos that also live in the park and will make sure your time here is hell. When we first started living here the lawn/ maintenance crew was so kind and respectful, the people there now are A-holes who apparently want to be homeless and unemployed the way they are chasing everyone out of the park I mean who do you think pays your checks? Anyways AVOID THIS PARK AT...
