The manager called the cops on me for asking for a refund after not receiving what I asked for. This has never happened to me my entire life! I'm completely shocked this even happened. I simply asked for a refund and the manager was being completely unreasonable and wouldn't even hear me out. He was rude right from the beginning not helpful or polite in the least. I was trying to explain the situation and he just said I can't give you a refund because the burger is smashed. I told him he was being unreasonable and he asked me to leave and threatened to call the cops on me and when I tried to reason with him he was on the phone with the police. I wasn't causing a scene, I wasn't yelling, (irritated yes because he called the cops over such a small thing), but not yelling or cussing or threatening anyone. I was simply trying to have a conversation and he called the cops on me. It was literally NO LONGER than 30 seconds after I asked for a refund and he was on the phone with the police. I didn't do anything wrong. I don't understand why I was treated this way just for asking for a refund. This is not how you treat customers. The cops came, I told them what happened and again didn't get arrested because I didn't do anything wrong. They said they had to trespass me because no matter what the reason if the establishment requests it. I'm just completely shocked this happened. This was my very first time going here and this is how I'm treated? For asking for a refund? I don't know what's going on in this manager's home life or what he's dealing with, but that was just straight hateful what he did. I know people need to put food on their table and I don't want to get anyone fired, but it would be nice if I could at least get my $10 refund and an apology. The thought of being afraid to ask for a refund for fear of someone retaliating against you just to cover for their own bad customer service is concerning to...
Read moreCHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT!!! I Went to DQ in Winter garden 9 days ago, place was so chaotic!! While i was there, 4 people just left very upset!! It took 25 minutes for me to get served with a take out order, blizzard and a drink. When i put my credit card in, lady said that particular reader doesn't seen to work, let's try the other one. I quickly asked, i'm not going to get charged twice am i, she said oh no!! So i use the other reader and off i went. Fast forward 9 days later, i get my credit card statement, and there it is, 2 charges for DQ WINTER GARDEN. I still had my receipt, so i printed out a copy of my CC statement to show the double charge. I went to DQ and spoke to Andrew, the manager. He said i cant' accept a copy of your CC statement, so i went online and showed him the double charge. He went in the back and printed out a sheet that had the charge on it and said, "see, only one charge". I proceeded to call my CC company and she verified there were 2 charges and even spoke to Andrew about it. He said, we can only go back one week. The CC company said there is no doubt there were 2 charges and are opening an investigation. Andrew the manager was not even concerned even after, showing him the double charge, the receipt and even after speaking to the CC company. So if you ever go to DQ WINTER GARDEN, either pay with cash or look at your CC statement within 7 days, there is definitely something going on with their system in double charging customers. I will not be visiting DQ Winter Garden again. I hope this helps someone not be...
Read moreBlizzards taste fine. I should have written a review for ALLLL of the individual encounters I’ve had where I have to ASK them to provide a lid on the multiple of blizzards I buy at a time when I’m the only one in the car for a DQ run… but this one lump sum review will have to suffice (& will be less of a blow on their stars). I also have to ask for a drink holder to hold said blizzards each time as well. Keep in mind, I do ask for these things ahead of the time, at the drive-thru speaker, to “please please please put lids on all of the blizzards and I need a holder.” I have never had them follow through on that request ever. When I inevitably have to ask again, at the window, sometimes I get an “ok?” response. Then they force the lids on them and DONT WIPE OFF THE CUP FROM OOZING ICE CREAM and hand it off to me that way. Come on. Do better.
Honestly, they are always rude at the window. All could be forgiven if they were friendly and having the above mishaps, but they’re not they’re just plain rude so it adds to the frustration more.
Needless to say we CRINGE at the thought of going to this specific location because we are tired of the bare minimum not being done. We go the extra couple miles to get CULVERS and haven’t had any issues with them. Take your business there if you have an ice cream craving and/or burger craving. Don’t waste your time here. Or just buy your ice cream at the grocery store. It’s just THAT...
