We came to Vermont to check out some sugar shacks and take a nice, quiet vacation. Isabelle and Karim made the first part of our trip absolutely amazing with delicious breakfast meals on the weekends and an excellent, cozy B&B to stay in after each day. You can easily walk into Woodstock from the B&B, and the Farmer's Market is a 20-minute walk through a forested neighborhood if you need to make a run for something. They had plenty of parking, individual breakfast times each morning for excellent guest service and accommodation, and at least 3 cozy common rooms to sit and relax. We appreciated the on-hand mugs and glasses that made it easier to celebrate the occasion, and an afternoon sweet treat was a great pick-me-up after walking around Woodstock or a nearby maple farm all day. We stayed in the Woodstocker room with twin clawfoot baths and loved the opportunity to sit and soak. The only note to a travelling pair I might make is that the room did not have some of the appliances I've come to be used to - though there is a minifridge downstairs, there is no microwave that we saw. I would have loved to have a cooler in the room to store our local cheese and beverages in! But this was an excellent stay, we noticed and appreciated the cleanliness of the linens and mattress cover, and general upkeep of the room. Would absolutely return on a future trip.

Stayed here on a Monday-Wednesday. From booking to check-in the hosts kept in contact and provided self check-in details, info on dining and things to do. Location: perfectly located away from the Main Street but close enough to walk, bike, drive (parking is cheap or free using the ParkMobile app). Within walking distance to Mt. Tom Faulkner trailhead. Amenities: no improvement needed, they had everything we needed; inside has quiet spaces and relaxing music playing. Really liked the streaming playlist. Outside in the garden has the propane fire pit and Adirondack chairs. Food: we opted for breakfast in our room both days. They are accommodating to special requests and the food itself was enjoyable. Room: we stayed in the Mellow Moose, spacious and convenient entrance from outside. Lots of natural light. The hosts were personable and friendly, we really did enjoy our getaway at the Woodstocker.

We loved our stay at the Woodstocker. The accommodations (we were in the Mellow Moose suite) were so lovely and cozy. The food was fantastic, and they were very flexible per traveler preferences (you could choose between breakfast in your room or breakfast in the dining area.) They were quite careful with COVID mitigation strategies as well. As an avid hot drink lover, my husband loved having access to the 24/7 coffee&tea lounge at the Inn. At breakfast they thoughtfully offered printouts of recommended indoor activities, as it we had the misfortune of staying during a period of several rainy days. Fantastic stay, and we would stay again if returning to the area.

Karim and Isabelle have perfected their craft as Innkeepers of the Woodstocker B&B. What an incredible experience we had staying with them and in the town of Woodstock for my wife’s birthday.

Checkin/Checkout: Very easy/hassle-free. It was snowing when we were due to arrive so I was worried about parking but everything was plowed and there was plenty of room when we got there. It ended up snowing all weekend but we still had plenty of parking for my pickup truck with a full house.

Communication: I’m allergic to tree nuts and must have indicated that when I booked the room and Isabelle texted me personally to let me know that the morning treats wouldn’t contain nuts so I could enjoy them and made sure to let me know if there was anything with nuts. We texted Karim to borrow snowshoes and he immediately responded and was incredibly nice/accommodating and brought us snowshoes within minutes. Throughout the B&B there are notes that help guests and it’s like they’ve thought of anything that might be confusing and made sure to have notes to assist. You can tell they are very thoughtful people.

Food: THE FOOD. Wow the morning and afternoon treats were delicious, there was fruit near the coffee bar on Friday morning, and Saturday/Sunday breakfast was delicious and very well done. We wish we had Isabelle’s brioche every morning. Seriously, if she comes out with a cookbook, we’re buying. Coffee on Saturday/Sunday was French press and the coffee bar that’s always open had plenty of k cups and teas and an ice machine.

The Space: We stayed in the Willard from Thursday-Sunday and it’s a really well done room. Beautifully decorated and spacious. It’s in the front corner of the B&B so you can hear people walking up/down the stairs and some street traffic but absolutely does not deter from the quality of the room. The bathroom was spotless, the robes and slippers were great, and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash was all local and smelled so good. The general spaces are also beautifully decorated and had lots of games/books. We struck up conversations with many of the other guests we would see and everyone was just so friendly. I think this is because the vibe is very much small/community focused.

Things to do: There’s lots to do in Woodstock and Karim offered lots of suggestions/they have a board with the weekends activities to check out. We went snowshoeing at the Nordic center (borrowed the snowshoes from Woodstocker for free) which was so fun and the downtown area is very walkable/lots to do.

Overall, this was honestly a perfect getaway and we can’t wait to come back to stay with Karim and Isabelle at the...

We stayed at the Woodstock in October for our 10th anniversary celebration trip I absolutely loved staying at this Inn! Isabelle and Karim are wonderful hosts. Everything about it is perfection. It is located a little ways away from the hustle and bustle of the main area in town but still in easy walking distance to everything. And any walk you take in Woodstock is a beautiful stroll. This Inn is one of the quietest places I have ever stayed. I absolutely love that there are no children allowed allowing for a peaceful and relaxing feel, even during the chaos that is the height of leaf-peeping season.||We stayed in the Willard room and it is lovely. The extra seating area is perfect for relaxing after a day of walking around town. As others have mentioned, the bath products are wonderful. The bed linens are cozy and the bed was quite comfortable. In addition to curtains, the windows have shades so if you really want to hibernate you can. There are so many thoughtful touches, including a personal note when you arrive along with some Vermont maple candy. Given that it was October, the Inn was also festively decorated for Halloween.||The breakfast offerings were fantastic! The pancakes are very, very good, and of course, the maple syrup is tasty. The French press coffee was an added delight. But hands-down, the breakfast winner is the homemade brioche! And during the day, fresh baked cookies are placed in a common area for guest to enjoy with a coffee, tea, or hot cocoa. The coffee and tea room off of the library is well-stocked with everything you could need for hot beverages. They even have a little jar of delicious candies there, too. ||I really want to come back and stay for about a week. I’d like to come back and do a hiking trip because I can think of no better way to relax after a day of hiking then returning to this relaxing sanctuary. Thank you so much for a...

Looking to stay in Woodstock? Here's the hidden gem you've been searching for!||Step inside The Woodstocker B&B for a homely welcome, where freshly baked homemade treats and hot drinks await you. Comfy chairs beckon in the lounge and library whilst the bright dining area leads out to a pretty garden of blooming hydrangeas. ||Each bedroom or suite is unique (we stayed in Willard which was so spacious and comfy) and comes complete with dressing gowns and slippers to help you feel right at home. Bathrooms too have their own range of locally created products to pamper and soothe after a day of leaf peeping. ||Hot Breakfast selections are delicious and made to order from locally sourced produce and accompanied by Isabelle’s famous brioche buns. Lighter mid-week breakfasts are plentiful with a self-serve variety of fresh produce including Isabelle’s baking and the best blueberry lemon drizzle cake I’ve ever had! I went back for seconds! ||With ample parking at the rear, leave your car behind and stroll 5 minutes into the village centre to check out locally owned coffee shops, bars, restaurants, boutiques and artisan stores. This really is the perfect location! ||Isabelle & Karim are fabulous hosts and even share their favourite local restaurant recommendations and leaf peeping routes for the area. We had an early 6am start back to Boston on our last day so missed the hot breakfast. However Isabelle popped a "Breakfast Bag" in the fridge brimming with local yoghurt and homemade granola together with bowls and spoons for our journey. So thoughtful! We were so very grateful.||We can't wait to go back and will be booking our room again for...
