I had an absolutely EXCELLENT experience at this place. Since purchasing new glasses in June 2022 from Eyes on Elm, I GET COMPLIMENTS EVERY SINGLE TIME I WEAR MY FRAMES! I am not exaggerating this. I feel so confident with the fit, and I credit Carey immensely with his honesty and knowledge. he 100% has your best interest at heart, and it would tell you if something doesn't flatter your face structure. My lenses were ready within 1 week, and Carey offers to readjust them at anytime if needed.

Carey knows facial features, and immediately recognized the width of my face in .2 seconds, and then offered to just educate me if I wasn't looking to purchase, highlighting that being in his store is a zero-pressure situation. PEOPLE! This is what being a local business is about!! He's personable and knows optical frames, carries designers you WILL NOT FIND at major stores, or local vision practices. You'll find something that can truly be YOUR look, not a mass-produced product with a designer symbol.

My partner joined me in going into Eyes on Elm, and was so impressed, he plans to purchase his next pair of frames here too.

I really cannot say enough good things about Eyes on Elm. I visited the shop last year while on our annual visit to Woodstock, after staring into the windows for years. Cary was so kind and helpful, and immediately was able to identify the type of glasses that would be a good fit for me. I have a small pupillary distance and a small nose/ smaller head, so I have struggled with finding glasses that fit my face. Cary helped me to find my perfect pair and was able to have them sent to me at home in RI within a few days. Last week, I needed a new prescription and after sending my glasses and the new prescription to Cary , I had my glasses back in less than 3 business days! Cary is so kind and helpful, he even replaced my case and tightened up my glasses. He even included the cutest little bottle of VT maple syrup with the order . I went to see Cary today and as always he provided top-notch personable service. He checked a crack in my current sunglasses (told me not to worry unless it bothered met); adjusted and cleaned all three pairs of glasses I had with me; and then he ground the old plastic on my backup frames so that they looked new again. While Cary was working away, I tried on several pairs of frames and as always he was honest, helpful, and directed me to frames that would suit my face, coloring, and personal style.
