My husband and I had a little getaway weekend here. We loved the ambiance and enjoyed the experience. The cabin is cozy, cute, and just big enough. The lighting is amazing. The decor is cute. It is definitely an experience we recommend at least once.
That being said, this will be our first and last. For the price, there’s some improvements that could be made. The outside edison string lights stayed on all night which left our entire cabin illuminated making it hard to sleep. There were no switches for these lights. The kitchenette was barely stocked with the essentials. The one knife was incredibly dull. There was one pan for the oven. One ice tray in the fridge. The mixing bowl was cracked. The faucet for the tub is too high and it causes water to splash out into the ground. If you have a large vehicle, it may just fit into the provided parking space. Two of the chairs of the deck had broken backs. Little things that added up in the end.
Also, for the price, House Keeping should NOT have to put out a tip envelope. When I am paying for a cabin, everything is included. We are not tipping invisible people. A clean room is an expectation, not...
Read moreFirst they have Amazing communication. Both emails and texts, including a map. Made it very easy to contact them when an issue happened. We had a few small things. First we stopped getting hot water around 9 pm on our 1st night, The texting service was only available till 8 but an auto reply to our text gave us a phone number to call. The nice lady that answered apologized and contacted maintenance. About 15 mins later she called back to tell us they reset the hot water tank and we would have water in about 15 mins. We did and it was nice and hot. The only other issue we had was the keurig stopped brewing on our last morning. Not their fault, that happens. Also when we arrived there was a light bulb out in the bathroom. These are all small issues. |We were there on Superbowl Sunday and had no issues catching the big game on the TV provided with the Youtube set up they offer. ||The treehouse (#$4) was GREAT! Comfortable, clean, cozy and comfortable. You can see the other treehouses from the porch but no we never saw anyone. Its nice an private. We...
Read moreWe selected to visit this treehouse to take our granddaughter who loves to climb trees. She is currently 13 and was excited for this unique getaway. I read the reviews on line which were 5 star across the board but as many said, the property was even more impressive than the pictures. Our granddaughter quickly claimed the second floor which had its own bed, bathroom, tv, and balcony for her own. The main floor had a wrap around porch which was surrounded by trees. It was higher than I expected and the view down the valley was beautiful. Most everything was trimmed in wood and had a cabin feel inside and out. The master bath with its jetted tub was a nice retreat with a glass of wine and a book. The town of Berlin is a short 5 minute drive filled with Amish restaurants and quaint shops. Pricier per night but our unit # 2 sleeps 6 so if you can take an extended family it would prove a good value. Once we arrived I never hesitated at the value we received for the cost. Go - it will be a...
