Awe man this place is AWESOME! Ok, so no joke, we walk into Mexican Grill not knowing what to expect, hoping the best but not expecting the same. Well, our hopes were realized, actualized and consummated! Yum!!!
We walk in, order, grab our drinks and our order was delivered to our table fresh, hot and ready to devour in, I KID YOU NOT, 3 minutes...and devour we did. But I digress...
Again, we didn't know what to expect when we walked in and were mildly surprised that it was a walk up and order place vice a sit down full service restaurant! It didn't matter to us either way but as a point of interest. So, we knew what we wanted because we perused the menu at our hotel earlier. You order at the register. We ordered nachos (cannot remember their menu name😬 but they came with beef or chicken and fajita veg, queso blanco, etc.) and three soft tacos with beef. After we order, our host reaches into the hot box that is loaded with piping hot fresh tortilla chips, shovels a load in basket and fills a bowl up with what we hoped would be fresh, delicious salsa! After our chips and salsa, cups and napkins were on our tray we paid and grabbed a booth. As soon as I grabbed a pop from the machine I took a seat to try the salsa. And O my, this salsa was LEGIT! Fresh tomatoes, onion and cilantro flavor BUT PEPPERS you could taste and feel🔥 OK, not hot but nicely spicy. The salsa was delicious. I had two chips and the food was there piping hot off the grill. I could hardly believe my eyes or my nose 👃.
Ok, I hate to admit it, but my wife and I took one bite and hardly took a break before it was all gone. We only stopped to say hi to a sweet little Amish girl that walked up to us and gave us a funny look like she was watching a couple hogs at the trough 🤣 But I am not ashamed, y'all, this chow was LIT.
The nachos were covered with tastee queso blanco, charred chicken & fajita veggies. It was SO good. Our three soft tacos were robed in hand-made flour tortillas. The ground beef was delightful and we added salsa, sour cream and guac. Bottom line, we simply smashed this food, and I encourage you too as well. We thank Jesus for it!...
Read moreDefinitely the best, most authentic Mexican restaurant that I have been to in a long time! My friends and I went here on a whim, and it has come to be one of our favorite places to go in Millersburg that isn't an Amish kitchen. While they have other things on the menu, I go for their street tacos, which I instantly fell in love with. The toppings are relatively scarce; just cilantro, onion, and a bit of lime juice, with some hot salsa the side. However, this simplicity lets the true flavors of the meat and tortilla shine through, letting them take center stage rather than having them fight through a bunch of unnecessary cheese lettuce, and whatever else white people put on their tacos these days. Of the 5 meat options, I have had the asada, the pastor, and the chorizo. The asada was great, albeit cooked to be well-done (a relatively minor complaint, I still love these tacos); the pastor was so dang tender and tasty I could eat only those and be happy; and the chorizo was spicy enough to provide a nice kick while mild enough to let me eat a few of them at a time. If this wasn't enough, an order of 5 of these tacos is under $10, so you get plenty of great food for the price! I have also had the chimicheesecake and I also highly recommend that. If you happen to be in Millersburg and are tired of mashed potatoes and roast beef, please come out to Mexican Grill, you won't be...

My meal started with the chips and salsa. I'm a salsa snob. I know good salsa and I'm going to immediately judge a restaurant on the quality of their salsa. This salsa was fresh and had just enough heat. We ate every last bit of that salsa, it was that good.
Then came our tacos. I had the chorizo, pollo, and pastor. They arrived with double corn tortillas, onion, cilantro, and plenty of limes. They also had little cups of red and green taco salsa. That was the moment I knew these tacos were going to be the real thing. They were all good, but the chorizo and pastor were my favorites. The meat was moist and plentiful. By the end, I was so full that I only ate a small portion of my rice, but even that was great. It was a delicious version of Mexican rice with diced tomatoes and poblanos.
I almost forgot, they have Topo Chico in the drink cooler. 💞
If you like tacos, you've got to try this place. I'll be back whenever I'm...
