Coblentz Country Cabins — Hotel in Wooster

My husband and I stayed at one of the cabins in October of 2022, and it was lovely. The cabin we stayed in was spacious and the shower was particularly nice. The bed was comfortable, and we had an array of streaming channels to choose from. There was a lack of surfaces to put luggage on, which was a challenge, and there was minimal decor. So... no pictures on the walls or anything like that.

However... this is not a "country type cabin." It's more like a "cabin hotel." The cabins are located in a condo-like development in a suburban part of Berlin, so there is really no country vibe at all. It's just a complex of free standing cabins with a perfectly paved road leading to the cabins. The backyard of our cabin was next to the backyard of a house.

At the risk of sounding pretentious, if you're a city type person that wants to experience the concept of a cabin but not actually go to a cabin in the woods, this would be perfect for you. It was a lovely cabin, but it was closer to staying in a hotel as opposed to a state park type cabin. So... no rustic charm, but...

I surprised my husband with a two night stay at Cricket Hill Treehouse D at the beginning of August for his 30th birthday and it was a perfect little trip! Everything was clearly laid out, booking and details on getting inside, etc. we went into Berlin to get some homemade ice cream and a soft pretzel, we went to the Ashery and then back to the cabin, and we just wanted to spend our time at the treehouse. Everything was clean and peaceful and beautifully decorated, looked exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed the hot tub and jacuzzi, rocking chairs on the porch were so nice to look out and listen to the birds. We brought food to make breakfast and dinner and it was just perfect, they had almost everything we needed. The treehouse had a slight sway that was cool, it is on steel beams so not “attached” to a tree, but still up high and very cool, Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway or relaxing weekend or trip with friends! Do you like rustic cabins in the woods? Well, this probably isn't for you.||These are VERY nice cabins, bordering on luxury cabins; our bedroom had a jacuzzi in it. The bed was comfortable, the shower was VERY nice and it had a large flat-screen tv streaming a wide variety of pay stations. There was also a lovely gas fireplace. It was also very clean.||However... this is NOT a rustic cabin. Or even a traditional cabin. It is located in what I call a detached cabin complex, much like a condo complex. It's located next to a suburban neighborhood, and the back of our cabin abutted someone's yard. The road is paved, and it's like a condo complex. Which I did not expect.||That all being said, if you want the luxury of a nice hotel room combined with the privacy of a cabin, this would be perfect for you. It's not the cheapest option, and you won't have any real contact with nature here, but it is clean, very comfortable and in a good...
