I rented a room Easter weekend the night staff where wonderful breakfast was perfect our family of 6 had a room with two queen beds everything was perfect pool was cold an hot tube is still broken that sucked but my biggest problem is after we checked out of our two night stay there I received a extra charge of a 100 $ 6 hours after we had left an we had to make a quick trip back no even 30 mins after we checked out cuz my daughter left her doll she got for Easter by the time “not even 30mins after checking out “ 25 mins roughly we went back an asked if the house keeping had found a doll cuz my daughter left it in the room an the house keeping had just finished cleaning the room as we were standing there at desk asking about the doll we legit seen them walking out the room an they lied an said they didn’t found the doll okay whatever ever not a big deal …. So we leave and 6 hours after that I get the charge on my card so I call an ask why I was being charged for another 100 $ and the manager told me it was because we left the room a disaster !! She said they had to shampoo the carpet an they had to get some kind of special cleaner to clean the hard tile floor an that we corroded the bath tub an I will say I’m not sure how we can corrode a bath tube in two nights (when we got in that room the bathtub had a rust looking stains on the bottom but I didn’t think much of it because the bath mat goes right where the stains were ) yes I know I should have taken a picture when we got there but honestly rust stains happen an it slipped my mind having 4 kids to tend to has that effect but they said that they had to do all this special cleaning for a room I know we didn’t leave a mess yes I stripped the bed as house cleaning does when they clean the rooms I had all the bedding in one spot by the door on the floor in a nice pile an then the dirty towels in another pile right next to the beddding I had all the trash cans lined up an ready to be emptied and ready to go for house keeping I can’t even believe they went so far as to arguing with me an said that said head house cleaner had a video proof of said mess an that they would be sending me a video of the room an never did !!!! Hmm I wonder why because we wouldn’t an didn’t leave the room like that I’m sorry I have respect...
Read moreThe positives: staff was super friendly and helpful. They were awesome. The bed was super comfortable with tons of pillows. Slept very well.
The negatives: the shower is weird. It runs the entire length of the bathroom but one side is solid glass that does not move and then it's open in the back. So no doors whatsoever. Did I mention it's open? You have to be in the shower when you turn it on or being precariously reaching in, so you get hit by that initial cold either way. And it's slick. They provide a tiny non-slick mat but you have to choose where to place it. Place it under the shower head for cleaning time or where you're trying to step in and out. Really dumb design all around.
The tv was in a strange spot and was super slow to respond. It took over a minute to actually turn on and changing stations took 30 seconds each time. Not ideal.
The hideaway bed in the couch is pretty awful. My 3 year old slept fine on it but I could hear any time she moved her 35 lbs. I couldn't sit on it with her without feeling 100 wires poking me. The mattress on it was non-existent.
Other than the waffles, which were great, breakfast was kind of gross. Super basic spread of eggs, sausage, a few cereals, dried pastries, and some breads and yogurt containers. Eggs were rubbery and the sausage was boiled. They just dump the sausage and boiling water into the buffet. They're also missing easy side things to add flavor to this stuff, like shredded cheese.
The pool was small and lukewarm.
All of this for...
Read moreThe Hotel was very nice, clean. New. We went on a 12 day road trip from Utah to Wisconsin. We stayed at many hotels and they were mostly a nightmare, with 1 exception. The comfort Suites in Worthington, MN. It was the 4th of July, late. We were very tired traveling with 4 kids and we walked in not expecting much and there was Tony. The nicest person i think i have ever meet. I am a property manager for a large property management company in UTAH and we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, Tony gave us the BEST customer service i have received ANYWHERE in any industry. We will be looking to Comfort Suites first from now on whenever we go on a trip, We will be recommending this place to anyone and everyone. Tony even went out of his way and tried to find Fireworks in the area for my kids to watch. He did not have to be so above and beyond but you can tell he genuinely Loves his Job and taking care of His guests. Breakfast the next morning was the best we had in any hotel in those 12 days, Gabby was under pressure from a full house of people, but still took the time that she really did not need to take and helped my 4 kids figure everything out in the food area and did it with a smile. If Tony or Gabby see this I would like to say Thank you, you made a very long and tiring trip have such a bright...
