Wow. Awful service. The guy at the counter was nice and helpful, he just seemed new, is all. However, the person with the keys, who I'm assuming is the manager, was unhelpful and rude. They only have two doors into the place but one is locked, the other door is all the way on the other side of the building, on the same side as the old drive thru window. What I asked for the door to be unlocked towards the parking lot, they said they couldn't unlock it because it's a lawsuit waiting to happen since some kid got their arm stuck in the door from a cross wind gust.
I told them, it's stated on the door, 'keep this door unlocked at all times during business hours' and they needed to unlock it since it's a fire hazard only having one working exit. They argued with me further, continuing to state that they can't open it because of potential lawsuits.
I left without any help from her. But seriously, someone should let the fire department know. That's not ok that they have an exit blocked.
Also, a sad day but I didn't get my blizzard/sundae coupon from my $7 meal, my son didn't get his correct order and my gravy cup was not the normal size, it was a small ketchup cup. But I'm more irritated about the door being locked....

The girl told him she couldn’t take his order because it was rush hour and hung up on him. He then stopped there at 12:45 grabbed a cake out of the freezer and asked the guy at the counter to write happy birthday and he could pick up at three. The guy at the counter said they couldn’t do that (which I’ve had them do many many times) he then stopped back at three and the manager was there. He explained the situation and she said for custom cake orders they need three day notice. He explained it wasn’t custom he just needed one out of the cooler and to write happy birthday. Read moreI have noticed that the staff is very polite and kind to customers ( even when customers are incredibly rude in turn). I have been in Dairy Queen multiple times and have witnessed people storm out after waiting ONLY 3 minutes for ice cream, as well as call workers terrible names for tiny mistakes. It is clear that the stores system is outdated, which can slow things down at times, but the staff is always apologetic and does the best they can. I have personally worked fast food and can tell you the best and worst part of the job is the customers. Keep that in mind, when you rattle of an order and get annoyed that the worker didn't catch it right away, or complain about a small mistake. Instead, take a moment, ask politely and they will be happy to help you. You can't expect people to serve you if you don't at least respect them first.
