I received a text message saying they will deliver my bedroom set tomorrow. I called and told them not to since I’d be working that time. Chad said they have a route to follow, totally understandable. He also said they don’t schedule their deliveries based on their client availabilities and that I originally ordered from Sioux Falls anyhow. For me, it’s the same company not my problem that it’s forwarded to them. I paid in full that’s it. I told him what my days off are, he didn’t care. He said delivery schedules are MWF, okay fine. He said I can leave the door unlock and they will put it there and I can leave a sketch where I want it. Don’t I have an option as a client to choose to be there when they deliver? You’re in the business industry you’re supposed to ask the patient WHAT’S CONVENIENT FOR THEM. You can tell them when are you gonna have a delivery on that area and see where your schedule fit. YOU DON’T TALK TO A CUSTOMER LIKE THAT. He’s not good for the business and I’m pretty sure there are other complains about Chad too. Or, idk this is my first time to order in Slumberland, hopefully it’s just the salesman and not the...
Read moreThere was a good selection and nice prices on beds and furniture. The store manager is our reason for the 1-star rating. He made multiple negative racist comments about the lower grade mattresses being sold mostly to "the Hispanics" and that we wouldn't really want to purchase such a low quality mattress. When I later asked why some furniture items had a percentage discount and some did not, the same store manager said "We do that so the Hispanics don't get confused since they have trouble with the math." How disappointing that we are existing in the year 2022 and this man who has, no doubt, gotten lots of business from minority populations, has such negative things to say about a wonderful group of people. I will most certainly not be going back to this location, specifically due to the racist attitude held by the...
Read moreSlumberland in Worthington is probably the worst experience I have had shopping for furniture. Their sales staff repeatedly told me that the styles and colors I want were "not on trend" so they don't carry them--and even more insulting, the custom upholstery options had a 6-12 week delivery estimate. Selection of modern, urban-chic furniture is mediocre at best, and selection of what can be bought straight off the floor is downright pathetic. Customer service was absolutely atrocious. I will not be going back, and cannot recommend them to anyone who expects to have furniture the same day or within a week. To be fair, Slumberland would be okay if you want to overpay and wait three months for delivery, and your tastes are "on trend" which apparently only means "overstuffed brown...
