Enjoy Punta del Este Resort y Casino — Hotel in Punta Del Este

I stayed there from 2/26/2020 to 2/28/2020 and it was ok. The people that work the front desk and the front lobby were nice all the days i was there. The ONE guy that was working when we arrived in the Vallet Parking was very NOT NICE AT ALL. I told my husband DO NOT let that guy touch our car (even tho it was a rental, I think his rude way of talking to us was uncalled for) so I just did not want him to touch the car) While my husband went to check in and get the keys, I had to get out of the car and wait for him to come back with the room keys while I waited outside of the car because the Vallet guy said he had to have the keys of the car because we could NOT park there. I am not sure why. I was there for 2 weeks and ALL the hotels I staye din let me park in the front till my husband checked in. I never heard or seen anything like that before. We already started on the wrong foot. Then we get to our room and we have TWO TWIN BEDS, so I call the front desk and they said you are going to have to deal with it because we have no more rooms. So I said NO WAY. That is not what i paid for so i am coming to the front desk to solve this problem. She said I may have a room. I Had to hold for a minute. She then came back and said yes we have another room you just need to wait a lil while for us to clean it. They changed me to a new room later that day. The buffet was very good, Fresh, Clean and very pleasant people there as well. There was no washing machine for me to do my own laundry, I did NOT like that. I GIVE THEM 3 *'s If I ever go back I WILL NOT stay there again. I think it was too pricey for the service we received. Also It was safe at night. I was not afraid to go in or out of the hotel at all. DO I Recommend...

I made reservations with two weeks notice and talk to the hotel in advance. They knew I was coming from California. There was nothing on the web site stating that you needed a negative Covid test. The website showed the pool, spas, breakfast buffet and other services. When I arrived I checked in and went to my room. Three hours later they called me to the room and asked me for a recent negative covid test result. I had shown in immigration my negative test and I had already done the required quarantine. I told them so and they told me that I COULD NOT LEAVE MY ROOM UNTIL I COULD SHOW THEM A NEGATIVE RESULT. Ridiculous since if I could not leave the room I could not test. I was very upset and no manager was available. So I was forced to eat in the room where I pay $40 US dollars for a sandwich. I told them they could not keep me prisoner. So the next day I was ESCORTED OUT THROUGH THE BACK DOOR, LITERALLY!!! I did not get a statement and I was told orally that I was going to be reimbursed for the three paid nights. Afterwards I tried for SEVERAL DAYS to communicate with the hotel to see about my reimbursement and NO ONE WAS EVEN ANSWERING THE PHONES!!!||This happened on December 11th 2020 and to this day I did not get my money back, not even for the 2 days I DID NOT STAY IN THE HOTEL.||They are thieves!!!!! Como en este país, existe la democracia y la libertad de expresión, cuento lo que me sucedió brevemente: como soy jugador de categoría Gold, me invitan noches gratis y me dan 100 usd de cortesía para jugar en las máquinas una vez por semana. Viajé desde Montevideo a Punta del este para jugar el ticket y quedarme noches gratis. Llamé ese día a las 21hs para preguntar si tenía el ticket habilitado para jugar, lo cual me respondió la trabajadora de enjoy club Emilia y me dijo que sí. Compré el boleto de pasaje en la terminal Tres Cruces, Montevideo y fui. En el medio del viaje se me ocurrió llamar y preguntar cuando se vencía el ticket y me dijeron que vencía a las 00hs, lo cual yo no podía llegar porque estaba en viaje y recién podía llegar al casino a las 00 30. Les pedí si por favor podían imprimir el voucher y dejarlo en un costado para cuando llegara, me dijeron que NO, incluso después de insistir y de decirles por todos los medios que la persona que lo iba a retirar era yo en persona. Les ofrecí enviarles una selfie por whatsapp, les ofrecí hacer una videollamada, les ofrecí un montón de alternativas y al final me respondieron que la encargada del lugar Sheila Caraballo Bravo no habilito la excepción, siendo un jugador frecuente del casino. Cuando llego al hotel me atiende una persona del mostrador de casino de enjoy club llamada Lucía. Mientras yo le explicaba mi situación, irónicamente esbozaba una sonrisa pareciendo como que estaba disfrutando de lo que me acababa de suceder, al menos eso me dio a entender y lo tomé como una falta de respeto. También tuve otra situación con una moza del Blend. Estaba jugando 700 dólares en una máquina de ruletas a escazos 20 metros de donde se sitúan los mozos. Y perdí ese dinero. Les pido un jugo de naranja ( lo cual en el casino es cortesía) y me dijeron que fuera a Enjoy club porque no tenía la tarjeta de jugador física en ese momento. Fui y retiré la tarjeta a lo que la moza ( de piel morena entre 40 y 50 años) se fija en mi máquina y me dice que no tengo créditos en la misma y que no me puede dar un jugo de naranja. Le pregunté si era un chiste, que me había reventado 700 dólares y no me podían dar un jugo de naranja... Me tuve que ir al piso 2 del hotel donde está situado el spa que tenían una máquina dispensadora de jugo... CONCLUSIÓN: Me autoexcluí del casino y de los beneficios gratuitos de jugador Gold, por todas las actitudes que tuvieron hacia mi persona. Sheila Caraballo, Lucía de Enjoy club, y la moza que me hizo caminar a sacar la tarjeta y después negarme un mísero jugo de naranja. Porque cuando entré con un amigo a la VIP a jugar 20,000 dólares nos regalaban sandwiches calientes y noches de cortesía. Y cuando no tenés dinero son totalmente desleales y te negrean en absoluto. 100 dólares de propina di el 25 de febrero de 2023 a un pelado en la caja gordito de lentes. Autoexcluído totalmente, mi amigo que vino conmigo y yo. No queremos saber más nada de las noches gratis ni del hotel mismo. Número de jugador 327661...
