Punta Del Este is a very fun and stunning place. I must admit, if you do not have a car it might be tricky exploring all the best spots, including the exclusive Juan Ignazio (a very nice village about 28km from Punta). Also, the place is pretty expensive compared to the rest of Uruguay. So if you are a travller on a budget and travelling by bus it might be wiser postpone Punta for the future.||||This hotel is a clean 3 star hotel. Read moreThere are two types of room. I selected the cheapest type (maybe that was my mistake). The room was incredibly small. There was only enough place for the bed. The bathroom was even worst. However, I only use hotelrooms for sleeping, so that was not a big issue for me. ||Besides that, the service in the hotel was reasonable. Breakfast was good.||One positive thing is the location, around 10 min walk from the bus station. Very convenient if you don't have a car. We found a great value double room here and found it had everything you could possibly ask for: clean rooms, comfy beds, air con, wifi, nice showers and the breakfast was delicious.||||But I think what made the stay so special was the friendliness of the staff.
