Old City Samarkand Hotel — Hotel in Samarkand City

Beautiful hotel with a lobby decorated like Samarkand, with its own beauty both in sunlight and at night when the lights are on. We were torn between a guesthouse or hotel, but with Nargiza and Zafar’s warm hospitality, this felt like the best of both. They constantly went above and beyond whether it was helping us avoid tourist traps or making sure we were comfortable. The hotel opened in 2025 and it shows: everything is spotless and fresh.

We had 3 rooms booked, but each had its own little character in design. Breakfast was great. They also speak very good English, which helped smooth over everything from check-in to local recommendations.

We had one of the best stay in Uzbekistan here in this Old City Samarkand Hotel! Zafar was very kind enough to help us with various questions throughout the whole stay and of course the room was very neat and comfortable, just like it’s shown on the website. Breakfast was also nice to start a day, traffics a bit chaotic but Yandex taxi makes it easy to get to the main attractions in the city center. Highly recommend this...
