Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand Sogd — Hotel in Samarqand Region

I will not stay at this hotel again. The level of service is much lower than in average Hilton hotels. I checked into the hotel at 3 am and checked out at 9 am, but was asked to pay for two full nights. During checkout, a young Russian guy was talking to hotel representatives, (apparently two young ladies). These two ladies were completely occupied with this Russian guy, and although we waited for quite a long time, they did not pay attention to us and continued their conversation. This was discrimination, and completely they were rude and didn’t apologise for our notice. There was a misunderstanding with my previous booking for another property in the same wellness complex near Samarkand, but when I got to the nearby Hilton Garden Inn Sogt instead, I felt in good hands from the first minute - and all there was perfect, at least for my understanding. Cozy, warm, quiet and simply, but stylishly furnished rooms, amazing bed and bathroom, huge TV (which I didn't use for a second, but it's nice to know you have one), and all this - in a very peaceful, quiet and beautiful surrounding. Probably the best hotel service you can get in Samarkand, is in that area. Airport is 20 minutes away, similar is the time to the downtown and historic area of Samarkand. There are multiple Hilton Garden Inns in the city, and I ended up in the wrong one thanks to Yandex and had to take another cab to go to the correct one. This one is spanking new in a newly developed area away from the city and here itself there are 3 Hiltons! The hotel is very modern and trendy with a light, airy feel to it. I was easily upgraded to a suite as a Gold member with breakfast. Breakfast here was unfortunately disappointing after the huge spread in Holiday Inn in Tashkent. The staff were very courteous. They even made my laundry complimentary due to a misunderstanding about the delivery time.
