If you want to see and feel western atmosphere, I never reccomend this area. From the beginning you will see the hotel called SOVETSKIY plaza. It madale me feel like I am living in USSR. There are animated fountains that shows some videos. I watched dancing boy in RUSSIAN traditional dance on fountain's animation. When I called them from my LOCAL phone number they greeted in RUSSIAN language. Okay, it is their choice but main language is Uzbek language here. I would understand if they are receiving call from foreigners but why should I speak in Russian language in my own country Uzbekistan with local customer services?
