Air conditioning was the only redeeming thing about this hotel.
Uncomfortable beds, small breakfast (and the fruit at breakfast was smelling rotten), the curtains and chairs were horribly stained, shower head didn't work properly. Forgot to add on Booking review: We were denied early check-in because the room wasn't ready yet, even though it was included in our reservation, but we were too tired to argue and can understand that slip-ups happen, so we just came back later.
When we were leaving for train at 6 in the morning, the guy at reception wanted us to pay 10 $ because the pillow cover was stained with my red hair color. Don't you have a washing machine?! We paid because we were in a hurry, but travelers I strongly advise you to stay away.
ETA: In their answer on Booking they tried to convince me I was warned beforehand of "damaging the hotel property" and since I can't answer there, I will answer here. 1. I was not notified about such a thing and 2. Dirty covers are hardly a property and more "consumables" and if you have a damn washing machine it should not be a problem. At home I wash with regular detergent and it never stains, consider upgrading your hotel equipment then.
Have been to numerous countries, stayed at simple guesthouses and 5* hotels, "stained" multiple pillows with my hair dye and was NEVER ONCE charged. Stop blaming your inability to perform on...
Read moreSome people might like this place? I personally did not like it for several reasons. Number one, it is isolated in a residential area and there are no restaurants in the vicinity. However there is a supermarket about 15 minutes by foot away. But what are you going to eat from the supermarket? I bought some eggs and wound up cooking them in the hot water kettle in my room. There is a hot water kettle but of course there is no coffee or tea, so if you like plain hot water then you are in luck. The place is well organized and very clean, but the hallways are noisy because everything is reflective so when somebody closes a room door there's a big noise, also the walls are thin and you can hear what is going on in the next room, or in my case in both next rooms. For me the biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The day before I stayed in another nearby hotel where they had a fabulous breakfast buffet. This place does not have a buffet, you sit down and they serve you what they think you should eat, which is not what I think I should eat. Although there was a man sitting next to me who was 36 months pregnant and had no problem wolfing down the mostly unhealthy food that was served. I...
