They are pro and con findings during my stays with them
Pro: One good thing about this hotel is that the room is cosy and looks new. The lobby and reception also looks very new.
Con: The hotels are adopting an open concept of bath tub, no partition at all. Toilet door also no lock.
2.The room door has no self closing door function, hence you really need to ensure that the door is properly locked otherwise others might enter your room.
No punctuality in the check-in time. We arrived earlier around 11am and the hotel front desk told us that the room will be ready by 2pm so we left for a walk around the hotel but when we came back around 2.15pm, they informed us that the room was not ready. Make us wait for another hour at the small lobby. The staff is doing hard selling Xmas eve dinner packages to you upon check-in which we feel is not comfortable
For tourists, there is nothing to see at all surrounding the hotel except the noisy traffic. To reach the beach, you need to walk for around 15mins.
Breakfast is not to our liking, very simple and better to eat outside. You may look at the pictures for all the dishes provided.
Please note that this hotel charged a child 6 years of VND100K and Adult of VND200K for an extra person in a room. They only provided breakfast & towels without an extra bed. This is because most of the rooms here are double occupancy only.
The WiFi connection is pretty poor and it will disconnect very frequently. Please look at the picture of the internet speed.
The cloth hook is too close to the shower head in the shower cubicle. Our clothes become wet, i.e. the shower cubicle is too small.
Power trip for around 15mins in the morning and from the window, we noticed there was a light at the shop house opposite the hotel.
When you enter the hotel, the hotel lobby, receptionist and restaurant are in one open compartment, if you don't mind with the staff keeping observing your movement, then you can consider staying in this hotel.
I think they are overrated and the Google review score has mislead the...
Read moreCame to stay here because of how universally good the reviews are and how ‘little noise there is when in the rooms’.
I am not sure whether others have an incredibly high tolerance to noise or there was some kind of a driving ban when they visited, but I can tell you, the rooms are outrageously noisy. The windows are single glazed and the building is located on arguably the busiest road in Da Nang. When you couple that with the fact people incessantly beep their horns, you are close to what feels like on the side of the road. What makes it feel worse is that we paid for one of the better rooms in the building, but as we have found often in Vietnam, ‘better rooms’ just means more windows for you to hear all the traffic outside. The rooms were advertised as ‘sound-proofed’ but I can assure you they aren’t, not from outside or the rooms next door.
The room itself is nice and the bed is also comfy and the staff are polite and friendly. You only get one key on arrival which is frustrating when you walk into a room that is well over 25 Celsius and all you can hear is outside.
If you don’t mind revving scooters and cars along with horns blaring every 20 seconds, you’ll absolutely love it. But if you are conscious or bothered about noise, you should absolutely avoid staying here or be prepared to sleep in noise cancelling headphones all night.

Read moreI have booked 4 nights in Estrella during the new year holiday. The room was nice and clean but the staff and environment were not as great as other comments on Google described.
The varieties of breakfast is few and you will be very smelly after having the breakfast. The smell of oil will be on your hair and clothes all day as they do not have any air con or ventilation while cooking right in the restaurant.
I asked for help for sending postcards when I checked-out but got refused. It was the new year holiday and all the post offices were closed so I hoped the hotel could help. The staff at the reception made up the excuse saying it requires a passport to send postcards so they cannot help. I have never heard of the saying of requiring a passport to mail a postcard in any countries.
The staff was helpful when me and my partner wanted to book a car to Ba Na Hill, but we later found out the fee was overpriced. The hotel charged us 800,000 for round trip. The hotel staff said it would be difficult to find a Grab van on Ba Na Hill for return in the new year and we believed her. However, we found that the car on Grab charges only 330,000 -350,000 one way, and there were plenty of cars around the Ba Na Hill when we left. We were both very disappointing with the misleading information provided by the...
