For the past 3 months we have lived in an apartment right in the middle of this night market and I can safely say there is no crazy loud karaoke music playing all day.
The food vendors here we watch set up daily, pouring the heart and soul into their businesses. They work long hours trying to make a living, and we often see seafood platters at great prices on weekdays and later in the night. They even have some family fun activities, with rides, painting and game stalls for children.
It seems a few new stalls have been introduced recently, but night market could certainly be improved by having a greater variety of vendors, and they could definitely clean the place up and use the premium, almost vacant area directly in front of the beach instead of blocking the street off. More entertainment too would help liven the night market and attract more guests. There are far too many massage shops, and to be honest they are the ones doing the most hassling as you walk down the street.
We hope they can make this night market a desirable attraction as it has so much potential and is in the perfect location to cater to...

All seafood on ice in Vietnam or most 3rd world Asia is poisonous, my wife almost had to go hospital and she just tasted a small amount of, there is a reason why they cover in sauce it is to disguise up to 2 week old seafood. Yes up to 2 weeks after that night do you think they throw it away 100,000’s dong of seafood no definitely no and I have had it confirmed by locals now”wish we had of asked first. You see the best lobsters on display and then the big switch happens with all the old stuff going out first. We were still drinking at close and watching them put into esky’s and the rats were bigger than dogs hanging around.
