The experience at Pullman was amazing from the moment we arrived.||The place is very spacious and very clean. The surrounding is also quite peaceful, which was nice and relaxing. The room we had was also clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Generally, we're quite happy with the room that we stayed in, though there were minor inconveniences during our stay - e.g. the TV remote sometimes did not work, and there was no water for in the bathroom one of the afternoons (though the water returned on its own after a while).||All the staff we've interacted with are very friendly and made sure we were taken care of - e.g. the staff in the restaurant would check in with us on how the breakfast is, and whether we would like more coffee or tea. After a day or two, some of them recognised us and would say hello to us at the lobby, or chat with us while waiting for our grab to arrive - e.g. Sang, who chatted with us and gave us tips on when to visit Da Nang again next year as we waited for our grab to the airport.||The staff at guest services even prepared ponchos/raincoats for us to bring along on our day tour because it was raining in the morning that day. They were also very helpful when we asked for advice on where to go - e.g. Duy Nguyen, who told us where to go when we needed to get a new luggage.||We also booked the cooking class with a market tour in the morning, which was a good experience. Huong, who was a chef in the restaurant, took us around the Con market and even took the initiative to ask the shop owners if we could try some of the dried fruit they were selling. He also happily taught us how to make the different Vietnamese dishes during the cooking class, and was very patient when we needed more time or guidance. We had a fabulous stay at the Pullman Danang Beach Resort and the customer experience was wonderful from end-to-end. We were picked up at the airport by our driver Vu who was very friendly, professional and full of knowledge. Upon entering the limousine we had ice cold water and refreshing towels waiting for us. As Vu drove us to the resort he pointed out key landmarks and gave us plenty of great tips on what to do and see while we were in Danang.

Upon reaching the resort we were warmly greeted by the reception team who had some cool welcome drinks and refresher towels waiting for us. As they seamlessly checked us in we enjoyed the view and our drinks from the Infinity bar. We were upgraded to a gorgeous, spacious Deluxe Room that overlooked the water and the Lady Buddha statue. The reception staff looked after us well during our stay with particular standouts being Thu and Jenny.

Facilities wise, there was a lovely pool with the beach just metres away. The fish and chips from the Azure Poolside Restaurant were so delicious and brought me back childhood memories of old school fish and chips which we enjoyed from our beach lounge chairs.

There is also the Nang Spa which provided a variety of beauty and massage services, as well as a complimentary sauna. There is a well equipped gym next to the spa that overlooks the main pool.

The morning buffet breakfast at Epice Restaurant was sumptuous with so much choice from a variety of international cuisines. the egg cooking station made a wonderful eggs Benedict.

The Guest Services team were outstanding and are truly a credit to the resort and the Accor group. We met the Guest Services manager Thao at the Sunset Social drinks and she was wonderfully friendly and informative. She shared with us so many of the activities that the resort had on offer that my wife was particularly interested in. There were morning running groups, tennis sessions with professional coaches, badminton/volleyball/basketball with staff, complimentary bicycles to ride around, morning yoga sessions, to name a few activities. I had the pleasure of meeting Evie in person who had prearranged everything for us in advance such as our airport transfers, local advice, and general guest assistance inquiries. Diem also helped my wife to book a number of the activities that my wife undertook.

Having stayed previously, we liked Pullman Da Nang so much that we booked a more inclusive package through a 3rd Party. We couldn't rate resort highly this time because of;

1. Incorrect Fine print regarding Return Airport transfer between 3rd Party vs Pullman meant I couldn't ask Hotel to arrange pick up upon our flight arrival because Hotel insist they only scheduled shuttle bus pick up @ 1pm and 10pm for 3rd Party's booked guests, instead of 1pm to 10pm as per Fine print. While I helped to uncover this misunderstanding between 3rd Party vs Pullman, it greatly spoiled my holiday spirit prior to my departure.
2. Airport transfer bill unpaid by 3rd Party: While 3rd Party resolved issue by offering to pay Hotel direct for my airport transfer, Hotel claimed 3rd Party didn't pay this bill when I checked out 5 days later, this is a minus point on Pullman's s part when they could have let me know during my stay and not demanded (upon my check out) that I pay this bill & claim it back from 3rd Party. I refused to pay & kindly reminded the Customer Service Manager to keep following up with 3rd Party as I was not aware of what info was sent by whom to whom, and when.
3. Hotel service gone downhill: Food & beverage still good, but communication between restaurant & bar teams is not consistent regarding dining & beverage options for Full Board guests, conflicting info sometimes resulted in us backtracking between the two venues. While at breakfast, we observed waiting staff teams on different days, there are choke points & poorly utilised space in Epice restaurant, plus archaic way of coffee ordering, only one team coped well with flow of guests around buffet area, others struggled to clear dishes & taking coffee orders. So, aim for seating row parallel to buffet (square) and opposite to Cooked Eggs station if you want a better space to avoid much people traffic. Pullman no longer offer free shuttle bus transfer to & from Hoi An, this is odd since the Hotel boasts its close proximity to Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nắng Spa opening hours 9am - 10pm doesn't allow guests to book directly before 9am daily if guests are on excursion leaving hotel before this time, but Guest Service (Concierge) doesn't have a simple mean to check Spa bookings to help the process. Overall, there is a lot of missing co-ordinations between different Pullman teams, one way that I can describe it is: "the left hand doesn't know what the right...
