I don’t often leave negative reviews, but this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Should’ve known when they claim online it included breakfast but DOES NOT.
Room started out great, but I quickly realized that my particular room (top floor, most expensive offered) was open to the stairs at the top. (OTHER ROOMS ARE NOT OPEN TO THE STAIRS & CONVENIENCE STORE) All of the noise from the store on the first floor, people drinking outside (it’s all open to the stairs) and yelling, and cigarette smoke…all came into our room all night. Finally, I lost my temper at 3am and had to go run off the drunk tourists sitting in the store. The employee was sitting there watching TikTok at full volume, selling them more beer (which I could also hear in my room) not bothering to say a word to the drunk, idiotic foreigners. Again, other rooms may not have these problems since they are enclosed. This had gone on all night long.
In the room itself, because it was open to the stairs, and the back door, kitchenette & bathroom windows wouldn’t close…it never fully cooled down. The ceiling fan light flicked on/off about every 10 seconds, and there’s a really loud water pump that kicks on every time someone uses water in the building…and sounds like a horn honking. Also, when I left to confront the drunks I noticed roaches scatter throughout the floor.
The best part? Not only did the hotel refuse to give me a discount for the LESS THAN 1 night we stayed, they tried to charge me for all 3 nights!!! I told them to watch the video footage, but they refused. This is just bad business from start to finish.
Only good part were the female employees at...
Read moreLocation is not that great, as a tourist it is probably better to stay closer to the better food and activities closer to the city. I also had an issue with this place while a guest there. I had a flight to catch at 11:30 AM and they told me that I couldn't check out of the hotel until 10:00 AM. Never stayed at a hotel before that refused to allow me to check out early. I did fully pay for the room, so I should be able to leave whenever I want. This was strange and totally unacceptable to me to almost cause me to miss my airline flight. Another issue I had was they had a front entrance to the beach that was unsecured. Anyone could walk in from the beach and use the elevator to get to any floor without having a room key at any time, even late at night. I entered the hotel this way without my room key. This is a open invitation for theft and/or robbery in this hotel and it made me feel a little unsafe. Bottom line, there are better places to stay and closer to the...
Read moreClean hotel, nice wet room style shower, bed was comfortable and you get coffee sachets and 2 bottles of water each day for free, with a water dispenser available to refill bottles if you want to. Room was cleaned everyday and the staff are super friendly - especially Phuong, she’s super amazing ❤️
The hotel has a mini mart style supermarket next door to it, which is open 24-hours and stuff is priced well. There are also some nice restaurants near the hotel, late at them and they do tasty meals for cheap! The hotel is across the road from the beach and every morning was great seeing that view from the hotel roof terrace balcony.
I went on activities and tours each day, and was collected from my hotel as it's within the collection area.
I got a taxi from the airport using the Grab app, costs 150,000 dong which is less than 5usd or £5. You get to see the Dragon Bridge along the way! Overall, I'd recommend the hotel and would definitely stay here again!...
